Meron/marami bang fake ZIC oil dito sa atin?
I am trying to look for dealers around Dasmarinas, Silang or Tagaytay area pero meron akong nakita sa OLX, free delivery yun nga lang no store kaya I'm a bit skeptical.
Sa Facebook ko nakita yung R5 Auto Performance. I think they are a dealer based in Dasmarinas if I'm not mistaken. I already bought from them twice. They delivered it to my office here in Lipa. They price it a little bit expensive but considering its delivered (from Cavite to Lipa, Batangas) bargain na. COD din yun so less risk for the buyer.
I bought the X7 5W30 for my Fortuner, and so far ok siya. I already had enough of casa maintenance wherein they either don't replace the filters or just top up the old oil. Also had bad experience with a local shop wherein they charged me with fully synthetic tapos semi synthetic lang pala nilagay. I had to learn to change my vehicle's lubricants on my own, with the help of course of my trusted mechanic. Yung ZIC, ok siya. Delivered to us tapos I can assure pa na kung ano binili kong Oil, yun ang nailagay. We're already using their Semi Synthetic naman for our old trucks for delivery. No problems so far din.

No report yet of fake Zic oil here according to the distributor SK Techno-Lube Phils. I'm one of their resellers, but I only deliver during weekends on selected South areas within Muntinlupa, San Pedro, Binan, Carmona, GMA, and Sta. Rosa. Deliveries in Makati area can be arranged on weekdays. I only sell the X7 diesel 10w40 in 6-Lt and Liter sizes, with optional Bosch oil filter or Baldwin BT223 oil filter package mostly for Toyota diesel vehicles.
If you still need a source within Dasmarinas, I can refer you to my counterpart on that area. You may contact me at 0917-8503188.![]()

I just tried out the Zic X7 10W40 (API CI-4) on my Innova 2.5 Diesel. Dirt cheap for a FS. I wonder if it's too good to be true.
Can't say objectively if there was an improvement, but having a clean oil does give me peace of mind. Ang itim na nung old oil (Toyota FS 5W40) with almost 7,000 Km on it.
I originally wanted to try out the Casa's recommendation of 10,000 OCI with the Toyota FS, but I personally think this oil (API CF) can still take in the remaining 3,000 Km without causing any adverse effects.
It's 5,000 Km OCI from now on.
I use it in our trucks. Drivers say it pulls better now and the shudder at shut off is gone. As branded dino oils are more expensive, using Zic is a no brainer for me. I still stick to our old OCI though.
Yes. But its additive package is biased more towards gasoline engines (API SM). Though, it is still suitable for Diesell engines, it can only perform at API CF specifications.
So even though it’s fully synthetic, CF oils don’t have the soot-carrying capacity of the higher API classification oil for Diesel applications, among other drawbacks, necessitating a shorter OCI.
Yes. CF is an older Diesel oil classification that's technically obsolete. CF has been superceded by CF-4, CG-4, CH-4, CI-4, CJ-4, and now, CK-4.
I paid P1.6k for 7 liters (6 + 1 L containers ). Approx 7L are required for the Innova 2.5 Diesel.
