you should have sticked or replaced your carb with the stock/original ones.4k carb may have smaller jets but you need to pump more to jack up and compensate with your engine. besides, stock carb have bypasses that are acrtually necessary for your engine to work better. i have an 89' 16-valve corolla gli that i have preserved with all its stock parts in place and still fuel efficient up to now...
