What brand of engine oil do you use?

That’s good to hear. I think I’ll be using amsoil signature in the future for the ecoboost after warranty. I’ve been seeing some amsoil in shopee for P400+ to P600+ per quart. I actually ordered 4 quarts of the OE amsoil for the old Mazda 2... The seller said its authentic. I sure hope so since they’re priced pretty cheap.

base oils are just that.. its just the base oil.

no manufacturer ever required pao or ester.


more important than base oil information is the approvals. acea c3 or a5b5 dexos 1 dexos2..

Having a fully synthetic base oil is a good place to start plus i don't really see any downsides to buying an SN/CF and ILSAC GF5 oil with PAO and Ester for Php 375 per liter as long as its the right viscosity for your car.

10w30 na.. ci-4 is good enough for most diesel applications..

Napansin ko lang na sa mga naka "4 stroke" motorcycles ngayon, bestseller ang caltex havoline 20w-50 motor oil na pang kotse. Then I asked one of them kung bakit hindi niya bilhin ang recommended motor oil para sa kanyang motorsiklo, ang reply niya ay "sanay na ang motor ko sa havoline (20w-50)". Then he left.

Tanong ko lang since I don't do motorcycles, will it be harmful to use a motor oil designed for petrol engines, onto a 4 stroke motorcycle engine?

Anu ba ang pinagkaiba sa additives ng isang motor oil na designed para sa "4 stroke" motorcycle engines compared sa additives ng isang motor oil para sa petrol or gasoline engines?

Check mo lang yung label sa oil bottle may rating din minsan na pwede sa 4 stroke motorcycle engine

Aisin 5w30 sn/cf synthetic oil is 1.4k a gallon in binondo, semi-synth is 1.1k
