For our Expedition, Caltex Havoline Energy.

For our diesel pick ups, Conoco Power D.

For my Strada, just had oil change today using Petron All Terrain (fully synthetic for diesel that's 10W-30).

The following are the motor oils I've used in my 12-year old car:
Castrol GTX 20W50 = hirap umarangkada makina; max. speed is 120 kph only
    Mobil1 0W40 Tri-Synthetic = leaked everywhere kahit ni-replace ko na lahat ng seals and gaskets; bye-bye 2000 pesos after a week :x
Havoline Energy 5W30 = leak's gone; improved performance and outstanding fuel economy; max speed increased able to reach 165 kph :D
Idemitsu 5W40 fully-synthetic = performance is good, price is cheap (P260/Liter); not available anymore :?
Castrol Magnatec 10W40 = ok but overpriced for a semi-synthetic oil
Valvoline All-Climate 5W30 and 10W30 = ok but hirap makahanap
Delo 15W40 = experimentation trip
Havoline Fully-Synthetic 5W40 = what I'm currently using; comparable with Havoline Energy although mas fuel efficient ang Energy 8)

On my next oil change I'll be feeding my car's jurassic engine with Mobil 1 Super S 10W40 (semi-synthetic) coz' 10W30/10W40 are the recommended motor oil grades for high mileage car like mine.

    sdavis,

GTX with Synthetic Guard (reformulated version ng GTX Drive Hard) yung recently launched by Castrol and nope di siya comparable sa Magnatec since premium mineral-based oil siya unlike the Magnatec na semi-synthetic (a bit overpriced if you ask me).

According to Mr. Herbert M. Haber, who is Castrol's product specialist for passenger car oils:

Synthetic Guard provides a stronger film of oil that lubricates the metal surface of the car's engine, providing a thick cover for the moving parts. At the same time, its formula allows the oil's anti-wear properties to function at full efficiency. This acts as a performance booster that protects the engine at medium and high temperatures as well as neutralizes the acids caused by condensation, keeping the engine free from rust.

The new Castrol GTX will protect your engine in any type of condition, whether hot or cold, through weekend and long drives, in stop and go driving and even when it is parked. It will really give your car "round-the-clock protection."

Kung medyo nagtitipid and you want maximum protection for your car, Castrol is the best bet.

Price is P135 per liter and P540 per gallon 8)

Magnatec is sold for P399.75 per liter

Started with Honda engine oil 15W40. Been doing 11 km/li.

Tried Shell Helix 20W40 on my 15,000 km checkup. Did not do well on fuel economy.

Shifted back to Honda engine oil 15W40 on my 20,000 km checkup. Could not bring back the old form.

Planning to use Havoline Energy this November. Its not yet my 25,000 km check. But I feel its now or never.

Hey.....nice place you have fellas! Its my first time. Glad to be here! :D

ELF Grapholia oil- I love the performance. It keeps my diesel engine cool. Dark green in color.
