Parang tunog pulley bearing tunog. May 3l engine din ako dati sa hilux sr5 more than 250k kms sa odo bago ko nabenta. Ni minsan di ako binigyan sakit ulo. Timing belt lang napa litan

2nd change na po timing belt sir. Pwede rin sa me alternator pulley sir.. bago rin pala mga drive belts.
Similar dito pero medyo nasa 1k rpm

Three different abnormal noise:
1 idler pulley bearing growling/ alternator bearinggrowling
2 valve tappets clicking
3 timing belt whine (possibly too tight)

no sir never na open clutch ko pati engine cover di rin na open, mga napalitan lang mga pang ilalim, timing belt set, hose sa air intake, cv joint. may konting pawis na between engine and transmission pero walang tagas.
na benta ko last year, palit ako ng np300, mas masarap parin gamitin hilux sr5 sa mga uphill and terrain, iba ang torque nya sa low gear walang sinabi new nissan pick up.![]()
From cold engine kanina early morning naghose down ako ng engine. Radiator pati mga drive belts. So pinaandar ko medyo matagal po ang warm up ( thermostat installed). Indi nagmanifest yun noise.
Mga 30 min medyo mahina lang. Binasa ko yung alternator belts continuous. Steady pa rin mahina noise.
Try ko tomorrow tanggal yung hose sir from valve cover to intake flange.

Tibay din talaga sir. Yup ok sir ang drivability ng LN166 sa 4 LOW.. experiment muna ako sa source ng noise.. bisita muna tayo sa mga iba pang mechanic..

Tibay talaga sir ng 3l. Hindi sya high speed sa patag pero lakas nya sa low gear. Sabi nila bullet roof daw ang 4ja1 isuzu. Para sakin 3l ang bullet proof. Ang alam ko naka base din ang design ng 2kd at 1kd sa 3l engine. Medyo nag sisi din ako bat ko binenta sr5 ko. Ano model car mo sir?

Nadevelop yung 1kz na medyo me roots sa 3L din for pwede ata injection pump ng mga 2LT sa 1KZTE na gustong iconvert to non electronic.

Yung 3L enginr bilib ako sa tibay niyan much like the 2L. Pwede pa lagyan ng turbo set-up yang 3L. Lalo lalakas.

Palagay ko sir, Palitan nyo muna mga fan, aircon & power steering belts. Pati yung idler bearing and alternator bearing palitan na rin sir. Considering na mataas na mileage nya e naabot na rin nila maximum service life nila. I also have a 1997 LN106 and these generations of hilux are more designed for the outdoors compared to its newer siblings
Sirs.. I traced the noise coming from fixture na kasama sa intake yun sa ibabaw ng valve cover. When I pressed on the air cleaner and the intake part over the valve cover.. nawawala..
* sir mokong.. maremember kun magkano yun intake hose sir?

Medyo malaki na punit magkabilang dulo.. napigtas na rin yun isang part sa me air cleaner side .. natuluyan nung nagpalit ng valve cover gasket.
Now, nilagyan ko ng elastoseal then nakaduct tape pareho.. baka makahanap rin tayo conversion.
