    yung SOLUS PRO lumabas 2004 kaya i had it for more than four years na at updated to the latest update available

    and i'm an auto diagnostics tech ,serving mostly auto shops in the area

    by the way i work and live in CANADA and it's so easy to have tools like these.

    about the fuel trim diagnostics , * 3% LTRMFTRM don't consider it a prob .

    i want to see that go more than +/- 10%

    anyway , hindi muna ako pupunta sa fuel trim to start my diagnostics

    sa basics muna ako , kung may lead na saka ako pupunta sa live data para i monitor yung affected area .

    first thing when diagnosing a fuel injected car is to get as much info before trying to fix it . that's what i always do

    Sir pasingit naman sa usapan..

    minsan naeexperience ko rin ang problem na 'to.. Lancer 2001 GLS po ang sakin.. pero hindi naman palagi nangyayari.. ang madalas mangyari sakin eh kapag cold start tama lang po ang RPM ko mga 1.2 pero pag bumaba na ung RPM at mejo mainit na makina, palagi po siyang tumutuloy mamatayan ng makina. so pag restart ko, apakan ko muna gas for about 1min para maging ok na idling ko.. ano po kaya problem nito?

    same po dito. old corolla engine naman sakin - same symptoms. minsan kahit tumatakbo na biglang titirik pag bitaw ng gas. pero pag nag-init na makina ok na. solusyon tataasan nun mekaniko ang idle mixture at idle speed screw para lang di mamatayan. pero di ako kuntento sa ganong solusyon - parang remedyo lang ang ginawa. aside from vacuum leak posible kayang mababa ang kuryente sa ignition kapag malamig ang coil? since sa umaga lang nangyayari un ganun sintomas o kung matagal naka-standby un makina. ano sa tingin nyo?

    malamang may singaw ang hose from intake manifold going to the idle up and vaccuum or sira na ito dahil need na medyo mataas rpm pag cold para ma reach agad operating temp and to compensate sa a/c compressor load. yan ang hirap sa mga ibang mechanico puros remedio.

    Begin with the fuel filter.
    Check if its clogged or due for replacement. Hoses ang clamps should be air tight. Fuel pump gives consistent supply.

    i'll go with sir 4JGtootsie's suggestion. update lang po, in my case it was a stuck o-ring where my idle cut off solenoid used to be. symptom used to be an intermettent idle, no idle,hard starting(bomba sa gas para mag-start), stalling in idle or on load under idle rpm. no problem on higher rpm cruise.
    what happens is that during start and idle a busted o-ring is blocking the passageway of the idle circuit,hence, the problem - very much like a vacuum leak.
    so my advice is don't neglect the basics and the obvious. g'luck!

Startup idle problem
