hi dvldoc, were you able to measure the LF3564 you got from the US? Got the same but cannot use on my MS as it hits the intercooler hose. Used BD28 before and it is okay. Checked online and the difference should only be 1.5mm, so it does not matter supposed to be. Does it have something to do as the ones we've got were very old stocks?

Dvldoc, looking for alternatives for BF7535 as Volmax is always out of stock with these filters now. Is FF5159 better? How about WIX 33138 or NAPA 3138? TIA.

Wix and Napa are pretty much the same filters. Same assembly line. Both are good. The Fleetguards is also good but I would not buy the one from there.

All of the Fleetguard (fuel and oil) I have purchased locally (from the famous supplier in Caloocan) appear to be genuine (ie. Made in USA, Mexico, shrink wrapped, correct date stamp). Only spotted a supposed counterfeit LF3564 from W&L.

The Fleetguard i asked a friend to get for me from Pacer before was dubious (i guess because it was more for a popular passenger car model, so they may be mixing):

We tried it on one of the cars and it's reaching 5,000kms soon and we'll open it up after the oil change to see what happens.

The lesser known filter models are easier to get genuine. I got these for our Elfs. Fleetguard Filters for L300 are mostly fake.

My cousin went to Volmax last weekend and bought for me a couple of BD7028s (for the Toyota 1HD-T)

Here's a pic of my current stock at home (our garage has several Toyotas which use the BT223s that's why i keep a years worth in supply):

He mentioned that Manny asked him if he was from tsikot.com (i forgot to tell him). Meron nga daw sobrang in-demand na filter and wala pa rin daw stock na dumadating. :D

Too bad they don't carry the P7454 as well right now so it's a good thing i ordered some online and will have them hand carried here instead.

Hehe... i would not know. I just called them up last Friday to inquire if they had the filter for our 1HD-T which i just cross referenced on the Baldwin website. I was supposed to go last Saturday but got stuck with the wifey in Divisoria so i asked my cousin to walk over to Volmax to buy the stuff for me. I don't know what time they open but if you happen to go to 168 or 199 malls, you can just park there and walk over to Volmax (it's around 10 minutes). If you go early in the morning, traffic isn't too bad as compared to late morning, before and after lunch. The BD7029 for the Land Cruiser cost around P870 or P880.

'Kaw kaya nagturo sa akin kung paano mag hoard.

Pag naghukay daw sa bakuran nila crazy_boy, may isang treasure chest daw na puno ng BD28. :D

The LF689 in the pic also has a similar thread and gasket size to the Toyota BT223. I'll Try to see if it will fit on any of the cars (it's bigger in diameter againsts the BT223).

went to a nearby auto shop here in angeles, i was surpirsed to see how cheap their stuff are. particularly the DGU.

Delo Gold Ultra - 190 per liter
Top 1 Synthetic Diesel Oil - (red container) - 285 per liter
    Gulf - 170 per liter

napaisip tuloy ako, may mga fake ba na Delo gold ultra in the market? sa caltex shops kasi mismo 230 per liter yung delo gold ultra.

    thanks in advance.

LOL, ginawa niyo akong information desk. :D

Crazy_boy, i texted you the numbers already. Sayang di ka nakasunod kay Dr. G's kanina... lapit lang sa Abad Santos yun. Land Cruiser valhalla.

Bayen, i-timbre kita when i'll be at that area. May bagong convert nga ako sa mga Baldwin filter. Natuwa si Doc Otep sa kulay.
