I have been receiving different response with regards to how often do we need to change the fuel filter element especially for diesel powered engines. We all know that an excellent filtration capabilities of a fuel filter is equally important as to an oil filter. Some people change their fuel filter element during every change oil and some do it every 15 or 20K PMS. Do we have a norm on how we often should we change the fuel filter? Toyota recommends that "Fuel filter need not change periodically" as stated in the manual. Your inputs will be very much appreciated.
