Saw the locally available LUBERFINER sold at W&L trading... i didn't bought a single one... the quality is so poor... it looks like old stock and i don't know if its the real one.. between VIc and luberfiner i think your better off with vic.

-no logo of luberfiner on the filter body(just says made in USA and some sort of writing)
-very dirty inside, i can see parts of the filter in the inside which has corrosion and metal filings
-sticker of luberfiner only on box
- not very good gasket placement
- its no where near the pictures of the filters posted at luberfiner website..
-the luberfiner filter locally sourced is no where near baldwin's and fleetguard's appearance and construction.

Diba yung LF3564 meron sa W&L? Yung BD7045 meron sa volmax at yung BD7095, although higher than BD7028 pero sa UK at AUS ginagamit nila yan so tingin ko kasya talaga sa 4m40. 6 inches kasi yung bd7028 at 7.2 inches naman BD7095 at nung tinignan ko clearance eh hindi naman sasayad sa chasis. More than 2 inches pa gap eh sa bosch ko ngayon na same size sa bd7028 eh.

You can pretty much bet those are fakes, All Luberfiners have full labeling on the filters to include there logo. There boxes are also fully printed in color with the logo and filter part number. From the ones I have they are constructed very well. They are made by Champion labs only in the US so if they don't look like what's on the site then they are not the real deal.




And many come sealed in plastic just like Fleetguards.


Of course if a place sells fakes of one brand it's a pretty good bet they will have fakes of another. I would just avoid them for those filters.

Why would a business even stock such junk and try to pass them on to customers. You definitely don't want a rusty filter. Your better off with a VIC then a local made or China made fake.

those pictures of luberfiner you posted Doc, is what i was hoping to see.. i was shocked when i saw the actual stocks they have, i was really disappointed that they even sell those kind of stuff... its cheaper in appearance to VIC. or even the fake sakura..

The one at g. araneta is nearer to me.. its not cheaper from the distributor but i think i save a lot of gas going to the distributor.

The larger one (part no. 51515 for everest gen1) is a priced at 199 pesos
the smaller one (part no. 51365) for the pajero gdi which has also many vehicle applications is priced at around 150 plus..

Magkakano kaya yung wix 51809 sa kanila? cross siya ng BD7095 eh, ganda kasi ng nominal micron rating at only 6!!!

Good news also, I already found a dealer here of Delo Gold 400. It's P1,324/5ltr and P248/ltr. Looks like a very good deal.

fully synthetic na ba yung delo 400? parang conventional dino sa presyo eh. makahanap nga. delo gold ultra pa lang nakita ko e. P1,500/5 liter dito sa amin.

I passed by Rapide's booth (ye ye I have to disinfect myself later) and sneaked a peek at their Purolator filters while no one was looking. Plastic cover at the bottom, faded print, no "Made In..." print anywhere

Fake yang Purolator na yan, ibang-iba talaga yung original from USA. Bakit naman kasi sa Rapide pa.

Yup dino oil siya but taas kasi ng specs niyan at yung slogan nga nila is its performance is compatible with synthetics and based sa MSDS data sheet I believe this is indeed very good. Mahal dyan sa inyo ah, yun delo gold ultra is P196/ltr sa amin, less than 1K yung 5ltrs. Try mo sa Caltex mismo bumili. P235 lang ata dun at P1137/5ltr.

I was at MIAS a while ago.. i talked to the purolator booth their, with rapide...
i don't know if its really original purolators but from what i saw its very well constructed and could be originals

this is true and over price but purchased one para ma-try din. for my 3c engine - whooping 700!

RT, no problem with our chassis. car has never been in to a major accident. puro fender bender lang. anyway, will check it again on the next oil change. i wasnt present when they replaced the filter. so i guess they only "tried" to use the baldwin and declared it wont fit.
