I think their stock are original since the filters have country of origin (made in USA) and are fully wrapped in plastic.

Doc Dvldoc, I have been using Mobil 1 Delvac 5w40 for my 4M41 Strada and 2007 Kia Sorento. Expensive oil here in Baguio, sells for 800/liter at Ace Hardware SM. Ace Hardware also sells Valvoline oils and after seeing this link (http://www.animegame.com/cars/Oil%20Tests.pdf) you posted several pages back, I am thinking of trying the Valvoline Premium Blue 15W/40 which is almost half the price of the Mobil 1 on my next oil change. What's your take on this, Doc? Should I stick to Mobil 1 Delvac fully synthetic or is it okay to shift to the cheaper Valvoline semi-synthetic oil? Oil change is 10,000 kilometers interval on both my Sorento and Strada.
The mobil 1 performed poorly in that test due to it's API SM API rating

Vavoline Blue has a TBN of 13.5 it's for commercial truck use, it's fleet oil designed for extended oil changes.
    Phosphorus 1197ppm
    Zinc 1395ppm
    Molybdenum 88ppm
    Boron 142ppm
    Sodium 2ppm
    Calcium 3076ppm
    Magnesium 10ppm

    Strong Anti-friction and cleaning package.

Compare with Delvac 1 which is OK oil, the Calcium level is way way to low to use one diesels in the Philippines, Fine for gas engine but your going to get a sludge monster using 1/4 the calcium as normal diesel oils.

    TBN is only 10
