i used aluminum threaded fittings for the IN and OUT portals.. 3/16 fittings(with o-rings at the end of thread).. now i'll be able to see which gasoline stations has the most water in their diesels. hahaha..
Yan ba yung Baldwin FB1311? San mo nakuha? Last time i checked volmax, wala pa sila available head.
Try mo din yung high efficiency filters 2 to 5 microns 7 microns multipass.. Madami gumagamit ng 1-14 thread. Ingat ka lang kung plan mo gawing additional, baka ma-restrict ang upstream, hihingalin ang makina mo. Ideal kasi yung additional FF kung may lift pump or FASS.

part number for the fuel filter spin on with clear indicator...FS1241B

yung filter head nagpahanap lang ako sa PACER.. sabi ko pahanap lang ng kasukat.. alam na nila kasi what head goes to what fuel filter body..

tawagan nyo na lang PACER and ask for FS1241B and its filter head...

the fittings na 3/16 pinagawa ko yan sa T.A FRESCO,, banawe cor retiro, beside BDO

there would be no problem pagdating sa flow rate and pressure.. if you Google the specs of the FS1241B you will know that it is efficient in filtration and provides maximum flow, might even be better than your OEM filter!!

plus the gen1 everest is not yet common rail so there is no worry. its indirect injection.. engine will never starve out of fuel...

KCboy, tiga binondo ka lang pala hehe

dvldoc, would like to know if you have any suggestions for oil filter wrench? seems like that the one with chain is not so easy to use as it tends to crush the oil filter if its too tight.

i also saw end cap oil filter wrenches:

    and it has 4 sizes:
    Sizes: 3-5/32'' (80 mm) x 30 flutes, 2-27/32'' (65 & 68 mm) x 14 flutes, 3'' (74 mm & 76 mm) x 15 flutes, 3-31/32'' (93 mm) x 36 flutes

    and this, oil filter pliers.

which among those are the easiest to use?

Fan belt or there is also a filter wrench that uses a strap instead of a chain

The wrench depends on how your filter is mounted, Some you can only get with a cap style filter wrench some have plenty of space for a strap wrench (my favorite to use) it has a belt on it that does not damage the filter and can be adjusted for just about any filter.

cut 2 pcs of vic c-306 oil filters last monday. one filter is 6 month old of use while the other is 1 year()......my first time to cut these things open and IMO didn't collect much of the dirt inside the engine. i think i will proceed with my planned oil pan service.

i'll try to upload and post the pics here as soon as possible.
