Kung palit head gasket yan it will go around 7 to 15 k depende kung saan ka magpapagawa kasama na parts.

Mag canvass ka muna kung magkano head gasket mo and as much as possible yung original.

Sa shop naman na hahanapin mo. Go ask them if they have a torque wrench. I research mo na rin kung ilang torque ang kailangan para sa unit mo... hindi kasi pwede yan sobrang higpit at lalo na hindi pwede na maluwag

Yung price ng job order mo bro will depend kung sino gagawa... that's your job to canvass.

Regarding sa bilihan ng parts, you can try asking at Mazford sa Pasay city. Dun ako nakakuha dati ng fair price para sa head gasket.

Other tsikoteers can also provide recommendation kung saan ka pwede bumili ng parts mo and kung may recommended shop sila.

Mga Sirs, need ur expert advices!
Newbie lang sa car.. minana ko sa erpat ko yung Toyota Corolla Small Body nya.. ginagamit ko na siya for almost 1 year.. my problem was nakikita ko dun sa engine nya may nag lleak na oil then hnggang sa spark plug may oil na din.. mahina lang naman siya mag bawas ng oil... tapos okay pa din naman manakbo. Ano kailangan ko gawin? Hindi ko naman madala sa shop kasi hindi pa ko sure sa mga kailngan ipagawa.

it is the valve cover gasket. for an old car. there could be more things to do. we have a gasket keep things in and out. replace as soon as possible.

you might tighten the valve cover bolts a bit, if you are in a financial bind.
if it does not stop the leak, and i believe it won't, what with its age, then replace it (the valve cover gasket).
it's just a valve cover gasket, sir. it's not that expensive. but if the oem is too expensive for your taste, use a cheaper replacement brand. the stresses there are "not too much", i feel even a cheaper gasket will do fine.

First car ko toyota corolla small body and i must say very easy to maintain siya and durable.I used to do the change oil,spark plug replacement and adjustment ng contact point...that's how easy to maintain it.
Should you have budget,pa top overhaul mo na sir and check valve seals and guide.
