I doubt gasoline station will drain it, although meron silang air filter, pero wala yatang condensate drain.

Meron yang drain plug somewhere for sure. Pero to be safe pwede din nga malinis na basahan. Tapos ipabuga mo muna ng mga ilang seconds bago gamitin sa makina. Again just to be safe.

Proper flushing(using chemicals) removes the oil film(including the gunk and carbon buildup inside)the engine. Bare metal-this harms a new engine( less than 200,000 km).

What most do is change their oil at a shorter interval and let the clean oil use its cleaning agents to clean the engine.

Sakin bro, per year yung palit ko ng oil. Wala ng flushing. Every January ako nagpapalit, fully synthetic nilalagay ko. Almost 4k kms lang kasi naii-Log ko per year eh.

I think ill do this instead. Italian tuning is it?
Yesterday i was at the dealership having the 1k pms, service advisor was suggesting i have the engine flushing done, i felt it was unecessary, he was saying that excess metal from engine internals etc etc need to get flushed. I didnt buy it, wouldnt the drained oil carry all those impurities? Of if not the oil filter would have caught it?

There was also something they did, some anti smoke additive, not sure how this treatment is done, pino-pour lang ba to sa gas tank then it cleans the injectors? Effective ba talaga? Anyway, that i allowed.
New to diesel rigs so those who have experience on this, feedback would be much highly appreciated.

no need for this. just follow regular PMS ok na yan. for diesel engine, usual source of black smoke is clogged air filter.

Good thing the diesel smoke stop was only 600. Moving forward if they suggest that again, ill opt out of it.
Dami talaga minsan pakulo naiisip ng casa. Stick to basics lang dapat. Oh well, they look at it from a profit perspective, tayong consumers practicality and maintenance of our rigs.

Thanks for the feedback cb and dct.

Mas mahal pala motul vs Liquimoly with same spec hehehe.

I've decided to stay on liquimoly, on my assessment, okay naman itsura after 10 T km of driving. Siguro liquimoly nalang ako forevrr for my fiesta.

if its really 178/quart, mura yan. but i doubt na SDO yan. most likely yan yung mono grade na Top1.

ayaw mo ng Rimula R4X? its only 200-220/liter. same segment with Delo 400. so far so happy with R4X

Is it too good to be true? Pero kung babase ko sa presyo ng Zic online, tama naman presyo.
