doc they are the ones claiming na sila ang tunay na langis.

So i countered. Yung mga gumagamit ng ordinary oil at umabot ng 1,000,000 miles. Ano tawag doon?

I would like to ask Bakit hindi Delo gamit nyo for your gas fed light vehicles? Diba Delo is suppose to be an all fleet motor oil (good for both gas and diesel)?

pag ka recall ko sa manual ng hino is 20-25k oci using orig hino oil filters, i stick to 15-20k mas harsh naman kasi climate natin dito sa pinas compare sa japan, bro kahit delo 400 at shell r4x they advertised their oil can go up to 100k kms oci when they first launch their oil, di ko lang sure kung anong delo yun, delo mgx yata, pwede naman siguro yang 100k kms oci basta sa expressway lang byahe

Sa mga trucks kasi sa garahe yan ginagawa, saka naka drum yung langis.

Yung mga kotse na gasolina dinadala na lang sa gas station na malapit, which is shell.

This is what my oil looks like after 4,500km and 7months since my last oil change. The oil gets darker in color is this an indication that I need to have it replace? I use 15W40 Zic X7000 FS diesel.

The sure/best way to go is have a Used Oil Analysis.
You can go to the websites of SGS Phils or CRE Phils.

the darkening of the oil is evidence that the oil is doing what it is designed to do.

    i have seen worse (darker!).
    mine.
    heh heh.

my route is the congested ncr.
    what is your route?

    i wouldn't worry.
we replace oil + filter every 5000 km...
been doing it for 15 years now. engine still doing fine after 140K km.

Congested ncr also but morning no traffic only at night time heavy traffic 16km back and forth in a day. This is the first time that i tried using Zic X7000 fs diesel and was thinking if i could extend this further and just have the oil filter replaced.

Before I was using mineral oil and if mineral I follow religiously 6months or 5000km every oci. But for fs oil I tend to extend it further but upto what extent? I just use visual inspection if it gets more darker then for me it is time to have it change.

The last oil change I did with my 2KD was Dec '19. Since then, I've only clocked up around 2,500km because of the pandemic. However, I'm still replacing my oil this Dec, 12 months after the last one.

based ko sa photo ni deesstone. Pwede mo pa sagarin yan hangang 15,000kms. At 4,500kms eh malinis pa. Malayong-malayo pa sa totoong dumi ng desel.

    Check the color at 8,000kms.

I see. Is it same color or visibly lighter compared to my photo?

1904 kms pa lang tinakbo ng truck ko this year and i reckon i have to do the change oil routine once again before the 21st because by then it'll be a year old.

double filtration na baldwin oil filter gamit ko so mukhang ok pa naman pero a year old oil is a year old oil. although tempting pa mag extend

Mineral , semi synthetic or fully synthetic?
