Oo binabayaran mo na lang jan brand name at marketing.

Sa panahon ngayon kahit mura eh advance na mga engine oil.

Super agree. Pero always check car manual api rating ng kotse lalo na yung mga current model. Baka kasi minimum requirement api sm/sn gas or cj-4 diesel na eh no choice hindi pwede gamit ci-4/sL

Pero majority pa din kotse sa pinas pag gasoline engine like vios, jazz, civic, corolla...etc eh sL or lower pa din rating. Yung subaru ang sM na minimum. Sa diesel engine wala problem kasi majority cH , cF rating parang montero, crosswind, innova, urvan....

*chookchakchenes sir sa mga sinabi ko lahat un 15w40 gamit ko at yung RP yung naging pinaka matipid. Ano pala disadvantage and advantage ng 10w30 vs 15w40? Kung mas matipid pala sa crudo yung 10w30 try ko sya gamitin. Tnx sir

Mineral yung mitsubishi at delo 400. Hindi match fully synthetic vs mineral.

at sobrang layo price per liter. Yun natipid mo sa fuel eh napunta din sa mahal na langis

Sir ibigsabihin mo ba into Hindi ko pwedeng gamitin ung oil sa apv na nilalagay ko sa innova? Yung nasa innova po kase fully syntetic yung oil kaso ung quality API SN eh nakita ko sa manual sa ng APV ngayon ang Quality na nakalagay API SE,SF,SG,SH,SJ or SL.....and I Google it most of those oil quality is obsolete na ang meron na lang API SH,SJ saka SL,pwede po Kaya ang ilagay ko API SN?

Pwede mo gamitin yung SN kasi backward compatble (SM and SN oil are catalytic converter friendly = low zddp but cannot be use sa flat tappet engine....muscle car )

But SJ and SL ang engine friendly around 900 to 1200 zddp na love na love ng engine.

Ang SM SN hindi pang matagalan. Hindi ko paabutin 10,000 kms.

Sir chookchakchenes sa old skul 4D56 adventure ano mas ok gamitin. Zic up or zic rv since parehas naman silang ci-4 mas mahal lang yung rv. At kaya ba isagad sa 10k ang OCI using baldwin oil filter? Thanks

Ah di wal pa pong 10,000 change oil ko na ung apv kung ung sa shell na FS na API SN lalagay ko? Naisip ko din Un hehe na kumbaga ung API SN na sakanya ung abilities ng mga lumang oil such as API SH,SJ and SL which is nirerequire ng Suzuki na ilagay...siguro kung bakit Hindi pa SN ung quality requirements ng APV kase Luma na old school pa yung makina nya..haha

IMO mahal ang shell ultra helix fully synthetic. May mga cheaper alternatives. Idemitsu oil (which honda uses), royal purple, or zic.

I think mahal siya because they can charge it that way and people would still buy it. Anyway, you're welcome to try other brands naman kung saan mas hiyang car mo. Ako dami na din na try na oils. Honda oil, motul, royal purple and then zic ngayon.

Regarding price ng engine oil. Pag ang fully-synthetic ci-4/sL price 300 pesos per liter masaya ako.

Pero pag 400 pesos eh matagal na pagiisip kung kailangan ko ba talaga ng ganyan kamahal na langis.

Pag 450 to 500 per liter eh binobola ko na sarili ko.

Wag kayo papabola sa marketing.

Kung member ka sa honda club philippines may nag-away sa usapan mitasu.

Pinag-awayan kung russian or japanese brand ba.

Sabi ko nga tingnan ang api rating at technical data. Check din kung gaano kalaki yung company.

so ibig mong sabihin yung mga oil na 300 pesos per liter hindi ka binobola sa marketing
