    i had mine cleaned and blanked last week. spent 600 pesos. all I can say is sulit! i can now feel the turbo spooling as early as 1500-1700 rpm

    Godspell auto restoration. Biak na bato QC near LTO office. Look for Jun (exhaust guy)

    Napablank ko din innova ko na 1st gen. Had black smoke problems before. Nadala ko na sa casa twice. First time, they just cleaned the exhaust system. The second time, they "replaced" the egr daw... Still black smoke after a few months... Visited central diesel in quezon ave...they replaced 2 injectors that according to them has abnormal spray pattern... Spent a fortune... After a few months, black smoke returns.... I brought it back to them... They checked the egr and injectors via obd2 scanner...no faults found... They serviced/cleaned the egr without charge...after more than a month, black smoke returns... I researched in sulit/olx and found someone selling a stainless steel blanking plate. I bought one and had it placed by my suking mechanic...He told me it might be a turbo problem... We install the plate....lo and behold...black smoke gone...meron pag nasa 3-4k rpm pero not as much as before. Dati parang pusit worse than smoke belching buses and jeeps.to guys out there having doubts on egr blanking...it will save you a fortune and lots of hassle like i experienced. If i only knew then...

    What do you mean? Casa maintained yung car during the warranty period... Fully synthetic oil...The problem started within warranty...Twice they were not able to resolve the problem until the warranty lapsed... Each repair the car spent a month in casa...

Some smoke comes out but at around 3.5-4k RPM. Haven't tried blanking yet but will do after I have the EGR cleaned.

    In my case, pag nag 1.5k may nakikita na ko sa rearview mirror. Pag dating ng 2k grabe na usok. Kawawa yung nasa back. Di ko na makita yung nasa rear. Ulap na. Ngayon may konting smoke pag nasa 3k pataas.

    Mga sir, may egr egr blanking ba lahat ng diesel? Meron kasi kami yung 2000 model na isuzu hilander extreme. Pwede ba yun?

    Simple lang sagot jan. Kung may egr ang makina (diesel o gasman yan), pwede siya i-blank. Kung wala, syempre wala kang iba-blank.

    So google the engine of your highlander and confirm kung meron egr.
