I dont gas up gasolines blended with ethanol for it may damage my engine. Pinapakarga ko na lang XCS Plus which is pure gasoline, para walang problema sa huli. Kahit na may 3 pesos difference ata, okay lang if it will not give me hassles at the end.

in due time lahat na ng gas puro E10 na. we just need to be more aware of the parts na madadamge such as rubber parts like hoses gaskets and seals, kaya dapat mas frequent ang pagpapacheckup mapa EFi or carb man ang engine.

    Hi !

Am using Caltex E10 on my corolla 2000 1.3 carb engine. Been through 2 or 3 tankfuls of their unleaded with E10. So far, no noticeable differences naman as far as engine performance.

But mas mabilis nauubos ang gas ... less kilometers per liter.

Will be trying their premium gas on my next visit.

As far as I know, all unleaded gas available in the market has E10 in it. Na phase out na daw ang non-E10 according to the gas attendants.

Like what others have said, no choice actually ... hehehe

i have 97 tamaraw fx 7k. so far wala ako problema sa e10. pansin ko malinis ang exhaust. likewise i dont worry kung sabihin man na pang-efi lang ang e10. like others say, no choice na tayo kundi e10 ang gamitin wag lang ma-implement ang e15 or higher ethanol content. don na tyak magkakaroon ng problema ang mga carb engines. tolerable pa rin naman ang e10 as far as my experience on my 7k. magmula na-tune up ang makina ko ang ganda ng idle at acceleration. dinoble ko (series) ang fuel filter kasi mura lang naman. balak ko gumamit ng platinum o iridium spark plugs kung may budget na. but so far ok pa naman ang ngk na gamit ko ngayon.

As of now, I think Petron Blaze nalang ang pure gas.

Damn, this e10-carb thing begins to be my concern since I now drive a toy car with a carb engine (3k toyota) ...

It runs in e10 blend and I'm too insensitive to feel the effects since I really don't expect much anymore from the really old engine...

Don't you feel any hesitation when accelerating when using Petron Blaze, bro? I somehow have this feeling that now, Blaze is also ethanol-blended.....

i'm not really bothered by this e10 thing.

some say up 10% ethanol is fine.

some say it will affect the engine especially rubber seals etc. (i'm not going to talk about engine performance since i believe it can be taken cared of by tune up).

examining the path from the tank to combustion chamber (especially on carbed engine) I don't see too many rubber components making contact with the fuel.

maybe some can shed light on this.

E10 gasoline ate my car's fuel line and opened a pin sized hole that sprayed gasoline inside the engine bay.

Scary in that it was a potential fire bomb if I didn't catch it then.
