More or less 5ml. - 1liter of diesel...
1st full tank 2 bottles 200ml. of 2 t. Every succeeding full tank 200ml. Nalang... Or 2.5ml. Per liter of diesel... Hindi naman ako sakto maglagay... Basta 200ml. Kada full tank.. Observe ko lang malaki ang tinahimik... IMO sa t6 the best siguro 200ml of 2t sa 70liters of diesel

Good day to all 2t users! Just wanna share my observations here regarding 2t mixed with diesel

    1. Shell 2t decarbonizer + petron turbodiesel
Observation/s: less engine noise and vibration, same fc, same power

    2. Petron 2t powerburn + petron desel max
Observation/s: back to normal engine noise and vibration, i can now maintain 1500-1800 rpm * 60-80kph compared before, better fc

    3 Petron 2t powerburn + Petron turbodiesel

Observation/s: less engine noise and vibration, i can now maintain 1500-1800 rpm * 60-80kph compared before, better fc

Not sure if this has been discussed before, but I'm curious - if adding 2T is so beneficial to most diesel engines in the country, why hasn't it been added yet as an additive by the fuel companies?

Kumbaga, same with the Khaos supercharger and other miracle products, if they're so good how come the big companies aren't clamoring over it?

modern diesel engines, with crdi high rail pressure. The need for ULSD - ultra low sulfur diesel for these engines is a must.
high sulfur will foul the fuel metering.
high sulfur is detrimental to the life of injectors, cat con, dpf. thats why some car companies were hesitant to introduce their euro IV compliant diesels. aside from dirty diesels here.
    to meet the environmental restrictions.
2% biodiesel as shown in page 1 of this thread is beneficial to diesel engines as for lubricating properties.
old school diesel were designed before LSD low sulfur diesel. if im not mistaken. so adding 2T is awesome.

So how come Montero/Strada/Everest/Ranger/Fortuner/Hilux owners are claiming improvements from adding 2T? These are all CRDi vehicles..

Regarding the detrimental effect, how long exactly before these manifest? I've heard that some CRDi users have been adding 2T for years with no problems..

It was posted here before that there is a max rail pressure which will suit using 2t oil on CRDi's. Kaya BMW, Merc, Audi etc (high-end euro cars) must not use 2t oil. Dvldoc has a good explanation on these afaik in the first few pages.

This is what I use. I pour in 2 small bottles for every full tank of fuel. The improvement is big. Some of my friends have told me that my 4m40 has only gotten quieter through the years.

By the way I got tempted earliear to buy the Optimax 2t FC rated, i poured only 50ml with petron TD. testing lang, I'll share my observations probably in the next couple of days.

I've read almost everything here from page 1, though I just want to ask something regarding my situation I've been using 2t for a month already (minimum of 1k gas refill unfortunately no full tanks since im still testing 2t) and I'm not showing any signs of clogged fuel filter. All results are positive so far. I've read that it is recommended to change the fuel filter after using 2t, my question is do i still need to replace mine even though im not showing any signs of clogged filter? Normally, based on your experience after you started using 2t how long would it take for it to clean the entire fuel lines and injectors? Thanks in advance!

Don't use FC rated oil. FB rated 2t oil lang. Nasa first few pages din explanation ni dvldoc.

It is recommended that you change fuel filter after using 2t. Dirt in the fuel lines and fuel tank become loose when you add 2t and might end up in the filter or worse might escape and goes to the injectors. It is safer to have a new filter, imo. But if you are due for an oil change very soon, then it might be more practical to change the fuel filter then.

Sir Ry with all due respect I read the first few pages again and I found out that you are also using FC rated Castrol Activ. Hehehe

I think FC rated 2T with synthetic or fully synthetic is the one that is not recommended, tama po ba?

Remember FC is the best to use.

Check the begin of the thread were this is explained.

FC low ash 2T oil is the the best and cleanest burning for use in a diesel engine. DO NOT USE synthetic 2T. FC also tends to be the cheapest because it's more common l sold. At least where I looked it was.

afaik, jaso FB rating ang recommended na gamitin kasi mineral based siya. higher ratings are either synthetic na or mataas na ang ash content.

Mga Gurus, so what FC 2T non synthetic oil "brands" are the best to use for our diesel cars since FC is low ash & has a cleanest burning for diesel fuel?
