Need your advice, first time ko magpapacalibrate and newbie sa diesel engine ang ride ko po is kia besta van r2 2.2.

Before nga po pala bago ko magdecide to calibrate I replaced the fuel filter and air filter and clean the exhaust pipe. I just don't know the original/oem kasi 2nd hand ko lang sya nabili. Presents of black smoke and lack of power is still present.

Baka kaya i feel loosing power.

more power and thanks po in advance,
jon2

My Dear Sir jon2:

Just to clear things up, I did not at any time specifically say or mention the design opening pressure of the RF diesel nozzles - as I don't know them myself.

I believe you were referring to an old post of mine where I pointed out that OLDER diesel engines with Indirect Injection systems (like mine) generally operate at lower injection pressures than the NEW common-rail designs.

I hope this clears up any misunderstanding.

I do NOT propose to give advice on subjects on which I do not have knowledge or experience, nor do I presume to second guess professional calibrators like Sir Jake.

Sincerely,

Dusky Lim
