If you are not familiar with diesel engines, it will be difficult to explain the differences between CRDI and non-CRDI systems in this thread.

I suggest that you first do some self study, and come up with more specific questions. And since you are a newbie on diesels, I really do not know where to start as I have no idea how much you already know.
