What bank? How will the bank allow it w/o knowing the credit standing of the buyer? that's against all the policy...

They probably allowed it but loan is still under the original applicant... So whaever happen to the loan the original party will and still answersle to the bank...

It was Philam Savings Bank (now China Bank?).

Asked the same question myself (but not adressed to them), guess i had a lucky break. Like I said, 'twas 4-5 years ago.

But in all honesty though, they did receive my checks as replacement.

To the OP, better consult your bank ASAP.
