    good evening. i have a problem on my L300 van,diesel 4d56 engine.the problem is hard to accelerate, specially during overtaking. the response is delayed.what id the possible cause of it?thanks in advance

    that's really not surprising. the L300 is remarkably slow. very slow infact.

    Well if it got slower, better check your fuel. There might be contaminants in the diesel you are using like water.

    you'd have to manage your expectations, baka naman you're expecting car like acceleration from an L300, which most probably has aged already, not produced for sometime na, chassis cab na lang ang produce ng mmpc, consider also the weight, its a van and most probably pag ginamit mo may laman, and tranny, not really designed for quick acceleration and it is attached horizontally across your steering wheel, mahirap ikambyo ng mabilis

    pero kung basic acceleration, baka engine tuning lang

    TS, when did you last replace air and fuel filter? Try to replace those first if matagal na. Also, if luma na car mo, baka puro gunk na yung intake manifold mo.

    Sir, hows you mileage? Everyday use?If m0re than 50-100t km check your fuel injection pump( palinis nyo po) and replace nozzle tip. Another thing is to check your compression ratio of you engine, timing belt, change oil etc..

    air filter napalitan nung last change oil, fuel filter ang hindi pa,try ko muna patune up, palit narin fuel filter. nasa magkano ba fuel injectors? baka mas ok kung palit nalang ng bago kesa linis injectors,

    Same problem here. Had to sell my l300, less than 2 years old. Maitim ang usok pag alanganin ang hataw sa gear number, nahuli ng smoke belching around 1 year of use. Hayun binenta ko na at pinalitan ng Kia KC2700. So far so good naman.
    Our strada with same engine, turbo nga lang, parehas din - may sumpong ng nabibilaukan. May time na pag hinataw mo,ayaw mag respond, parang gusto pang mamatay ng engine. Brought it to Diamond- Marcos, wala daw makitang problema. Casa maintained pa yan ha.

    nag kaganito rin dati yung adventure namin , try to calibrate the nozzle and clean the injection pump , yung samin kasi bumalik sa dating takbo niya .

    calibrate nozzle?meaning clean nozzle tip? if palit nozzle nalang,o injector mismo,di kaya masyado mahal?

    nako boss !! sakit sa bulsa kapag papalitan lahat hehe

    try mo muna pa calibrate at palinis yung injetion pump malay mo mag bago ;)
    .. o kaya try mo rin ipa tune up sa mekaniko nio, baka kasi kapag pinalitan mo , tapos hindi pala yun yung sakit sayang .

    Malabon Diesel sa dagatdagatan magaling. Ok din AER sa bambang area. If calibrate and replace injectors, mga 16-20k na yan

    confirm ko lang sir,yung 16-20k, palit injectors or calibrate lang?

    Sorry sir hindi ko alam. Usually replace kami. Kasi ang alam ko, disposable ang injectors. Kung lumaki na butas, palit talaga

    not calibrate, balance lang ang nozzle tips. usually less than 100 petot per injector ang charge. then valve clearance ipa adjust mo rin. ang power ng 4d56, nasa 13. palit ng air filter rin, baka barado na. let your engine breath. lastly, makupad ang 4d56. if you want faster acceleration, change car ka.

    check the basics first:
    1. timing check. retension timing belt if out of specs. replace t-belt if necessary also.
    2. check the three filters: air, fuel and oil. replace if necessary as well as the oil
    3. check valve clearance. check also rocker arms/tappets for cracks. nagpalit na rin ako neto 3 years ago. mahina manakbo dati nung di ko pa napalitan rocker arm.
    3. check also for dragging brakes.
    4. check your clutch for wear
    5. if all else fails, then check the fuel injection pump for calibration or replacement of parts.
    6. nozzle tips for cleaning or replacement. walang remedyo sa nozzle tips. replacement talaga ang bagsak mo dito kung di na maayos spray pattern. di pa ako nagpalit sa pickup ko pero sa small diesel kubota na inayos ko eh nagimprove ang hatak. sa kaibigan ko na farmer iyon gamit nya sa handtractor, tuwang tuwa nga sya nung naayos eh.

    for item #5 & 6, try mo siguro yung 2T. it may do some cleaning sa nozzle tips. check mo na lang yung thread regarding this. as per experience, nabawasan ang smoky exhaust.
    i dont believe na slow ang 4d56NA. ambibilis nga mga nakakasabayan ko na FBs. hehehe.

    imo :sweat:, may ibang kupad sir , yung tipong mararamdaman mo nag bago yung performance ng car mo .
    yung bigla na lang bumagal o kumupad nga yung auto mo kumpara sa dati niyang takbo .

    hanggat maari wag mo muna sir ipagalaw yung injection pump ( i mean wag mo muna papalitan) , try mo muna yung nozzle i calibrate . kadalasan kasi nasa nozzle pwede rin kulang lang sa tune up or linis ng air cleaner .
