Not charge but you can use jumper cables and another car to start your car.
my question is if there is something that can be done to the "dead" battery to make it start the car one last time. can you apply an overcharge for example
i'm asking because i have this large lithium-ion "powerbank" that outputs 220vac, enough to power a car battery charger. would be a potential lifesaver if this could work...
You could probably use that to jumpstart the car. You are not charging the battery, but instead coursing the current through the dead battery and into the starter. Once you got the car running, you don't even need the battery.
Well you're the one wondering if it can be used in the first place. Already told you a dead battery will not charge. If you figured out the 220VAC battery can't start a car, what makes you think it will charge a battery?
been living under a rock?it's called a car battery charger. you plug it into 220vac. it outputs 13 something volts DC to charge a lead-acid
my theory is if you could somehow zap or jolt or overcharge the car battery to make it start the car one last time. it's pretty obvious you haven't tried it and you don't know jack $hit about this topic so please don't troll. thanks![]()
Get a battery charger with desulfator function .... might bring back the dead battery back to life

Pwede i-charge. Pero ang alam ko matagal ang charge nun ah. Hrs ang bilang. Tapos pag nagstart na, 1 day lang yun, pag start mo the next day dead ulit yun

1. some batteries can hold enough juice for a few minutes, so that you can start a car very shortly after the battery was charged by a battery charger. but if you wait a few more minutes, you won't be able to do it.
2. some MT cars can (easily be) push-started, even with a dying battery. it takes a lot less electricity to power the sparking circuits, compared to the starter's requirements. but i am told, some of today's newer cars may not be push-started, due to built-in safety features; i don't know about those.
3. a very dead battery may not even light a flashlight bulb.
if you have an AT or CVT car, it is a good idea to have a battery charger at home, or motolite's battery delivery number.
do those mall-advertised handhelds work? i do not know.
sometimes, sulfated batteries can be revived if you use a seven stage battery reconditioner. i have used them on AGM, maintenance free, gel cell and flooded batteries with success when the regular battery charger has failed.

TS balitaan kita in a few days.
Mau battery ako dito na sira. 6v na lang ang naiiwan na charge even after charging it for 2 days straight.
I borrowed a battery charger with desulfator, yung ctek. Currently in the process of 'reviving' the battery

Di rin nagwork in reviving the battery. Off to buy a new battery
