Try to re check your alternator, kung talagang ok na sya you can claim your warranty nman sa battery shop na pinagbilhan mo...

Optima is made in the US. It is a completely different battery design using spiral plates technology. It can be used in any orientation (upright; sideways; etc.) and lifespan is supposedly at least fice years. Siyempre, at least five times din ang presyo! he..he..he..

Batteries are designed to last at least one year of NORMAL use. Longer life span can be designed pero mas mahal siyempre. The number of years is not really a good measure of the battery's worth. You have to factor in the electricals, type of engine (mas mainit ang diesel); age of the car (mas old, mas malakas mag discharge due to electrical leakage); at ACTUAL NUMBER OF HOURS USED. May tumatagal ng more than two years kasi mga teo hours a day lang nagagamit. May one year lang kasi almost 8 hours tumatakbo. So iba-iba yan.

Generally, pag hindi mo ginamit ang car for two weeks or more, madidischarge talaga battery. Specially yung mga may alarm, digital clocks, etc.

As for casa supplied batteries, one year lang design pero tumatagal dahil wala pang electrical leakage ang mga bagong cars.

Not sure lang kung okay pa rin outlast ngayon.
    I agree with PK.

Like PK, I was able to stretch my Outlast battery to four years dun sa dati kong Sentra.

My Motolite Excel Super Premium battery ay 4 years na sa Crosswind ko by July this year. Due for replacement na, although malakas pa ang battery at mejo may bulge na sa gilid. I heared that the price of Motoline Excel SP is around P3750, while the Motolite Gold is P2450.
    Ano difference nung Motolite Enduro?

Yung dati kong motolite classic tumagal sakin ng 3 years. Yung Enduro ngayon ay ang motolite classic na dating labas. yan ang pinaka mura. Tingin ko, minsan eh tyempuhan lang kung makaka tapat ka ng magandang baterry.

I think that's for purging or serve as relief for excess gas "Hydrogen". During battery in operation (Flowing of electricity) there's some chemical reactions inside the battery that produced Hydrogen.

Someone to correct me if I'm wrong

    Up ko lang...

Mga sir, ano pong recommended nyo na 1SM Battery for my eg sedan. And saan po ok bumili yung reasonable price with free delivery with-in metro manila. Tumirik po yung auto ko ngayon lang.

Sorry po mods kung dapat sa wtb ito pero I need expert opinions kasi balak ko ng magpalit ng brand. Champion yung nakalagay ngayon sa auto ko since nabili ko sya last year. Preferred ko po mga sir yung no-maintenance. Thanks po in advance.

Ka bibili ko lang ng Motolite excel n70/3sm 4.2K. Nag check lang ako sa website ng motolite para malaman yung pinakamataas na rating tapos nag tawad na ako sa ibat-ibang tindahan.
based on experience gold is one of the best. gusto ko sana i-try yung enduro kasi mura kaya lang mas mababa kasi rating niya sa gold eh.

Got my Enduro 2SM for 2200++. My previous Enduro lasted more than two years. It survived a busted alternator a few months ago.
