just replaced my motolite enduro na 3smf with AMARON batteries
tried naman ibang brand.. ayoko na sa motolite mahal yet hindi maganda specs..

we used DELKOR (made in korea) in our gen1 everest... 90ah rating with 640 CCA i think.. maganda at malakas na battery talaga.

Right now bought AMARON batteries, made in india with 80 ah ,, 620CCA and 140 RESERVE CAPACITY...

been doing research, and this battery was manufactured by JONSTON CONTROLS, the same company who makes AC delco / VARTA batteries and OPTIMA batteries! which is the best batteries in the world
its the number 1 battery in india, wherein its warranty there is at 60 MONTHS!! or 5 years..
its TWICE as heavy as motolite!! (better cell construction and lead purity)
Uses silver in its plates for longer life and stronger current..
its priced at 4,900 retail, with 21 months warranty here locally at the store which i bought it..
I think its a good buy, price and performance wise..

The locally made motolite and oultlast brands all uses RECYCLED LEAD, which is the main reason for shorter and uneven battery life and performance...

How much is the 2SMF of an Amaron car battery? Is it readily available through our local car batteries dealer?

I replaced the stock GS battery of my Strada with Amaron. It is indeed heavier. Got it at 6K from Kia Motors Baguio.

Mukhang ok nga yan miko ha, esp kung ma-extend mo yung life niya more than 21 months.

Just an update guys on 3smf Amaron batteries which they say is the best battery around. Like everybody looking for a better deal I tried the Amaron battery which lasted me only 23 months. The first 14 months of used already have shown problems of wear out even the SUV it is installed is seldom used. It shows sign of power depletion. Returning it for the first time, they just changed the battery solution and charge it overnight.

I thought that solves the problem. Not until the 23rd month where it again discharges and my SUV wont start. After charging it in my garage for 2 hours, it started, brought again to the store and have it checked. It shows two cells worn and have to be replaced. I don't know if this is just an isolated case but having reached the max. warranty limit I have to purchase again a new battery.

Prior to this Amaron, I'm using 3sm Motolite Gold which has lasted me 7 yrs. on the same SUV. The car is seldom used, the reason for long battery life and quite really surprise that the Amaron did not even reached half the life of the Motolite Gold.

There you go guys..First hand experience from me. I will never try Amaron again...Back to Motolite..Mahusay pa rin gawang pinoy kahit mahal..

My Amaron Hi-Life 115D31L (3SMF; 160 mins RC, 90Ah) is just a little over 6 months old. It's still snappy and starts my 2.5 D4D like it's about to destroy the starter... ang bilis ng redondo. I'd be happy if it'll last 4-5 years.

The OEM battery was an Oriental 80D26L (2SM; 133 mins RC, 68 Ah). That guy lasted 3 years and 4 months (40 months).

ginnova, first sign ng weak battery sa innova natin is the door auto lock function. pag hindi gumana, mahina na battery. yung stock oriental battery natin 5 years din tinagal.

Amaron, eh? Not too common, though I'll be reading this thread more often. Looks interesting, and the feedbacks are positive.

Been using AC Delco and GS for over 3 years now. Motolite doesn't have high (90) amp batteries. Sayang nga yung GS, they were another good option to AC Delco.
