Tibay talaga amaron.. yung isang sasakyan ko, nka garage lang for 3months.. nung puntahan ko na.. zero charge na yung amaron 3sm batt.. recharged using ctek for 1 hour.. ayun umandar na..

Then overnight charge ko ulit.. pero yung green indicator na ok yung battery wala pa din.. so i tried recharging by recon mode.. after 4hrs.. lumabas na yung green indicator sa battery.. lakas pa din start

Btw Oct 2019 pa yung battery

Try to avoid draining any battery to zero charge ... once it goes zero, it's broken already ... so they say ...

a few years ago. i forgot to unplug a dashcam sa accessory socket ng auto. it stayed there for a week. ayun drained si amaron. i forgot kung hi life o go iyon. di na gumana yung unlock ng pinto. i borrowed a bosch c7 and put it on for 24hrs. ayun nakuha pa naman. still using the battery until we sold the car mga nov. last year. sulit ako sa amaron.

if the battery is old and already on its way to death,
draining it completely will only hasten the way.

but if the battery is still 'healthy', draining it completely,
re-charging it will restore it to its near-original state of ill-health before it got drained.

i once left the domelight of my city car, on, over the weekend.
my 3 year old battery died, and refused to be revived. had to replace it.

my slex car's alternator bearing died, and the 4 year old battery ran flat.
the bearing was replaced, we push-started the car, and a year later, the battery still runs good.

    errr,
    motolites po.
    heh heh.

Draining a lead-acid battery, regardless of health, will reduce its lifespan. This reduction in service life seems exponential as the battery ages. In other words, a new battery will have better chance of being revived when discharged compared to another that's on its last legs.

my 3 year old battery flatlined because i left the domelights on, during a long-ish weekend. i could not revive it.

my 1 year old battery died, because the alternator malfunctioned. i had the car push-started, and after a year, the battery is still good.

Ayun tapos!

^ from experience physical Amaron dealers will give you a hard time. Ayaw ibigay yung warranty card gusto pa makita yung actual car and itetest daw ng electrician nila.

I said F that and left.

The Lazada store is better. Battery arrives with the original receipt and warranty card, no questions asked.

Dahil siguro yung taxis and jeepney few starts lang and long routes yan so fully charged yung battery...pero yung mga pumapasok na 1 to 2 hours lang byahe, hindi sapat yung time to fully charge the batt.

Mas madalas din start stop lalo na kung sa mall lang nag pupunta

    not to mention,
many PUJs do not use their headlights at night,
so the charging system isn't challenged that much.
the battery stays charged, even at night!
