that's abnormal. that's acid. it can ruin paint and dissolve metal.
if under warranty, bring it to your warranter, po.
otherwise, wash it down with lotsa water. then observe. open it if you can, to remove some of the liquid inside the cells.
if repeating, have your charging system checked. you might be over-charging, causing the liquid to bubble out.
Sir ilang months na amaron battery mo?

Just an update guys on 3smf Amaron batteries which they say is the best battery around. Like everybody looking for a better deal I tried the Amaron battery which lasted me only 23 months. The first 14 months of used already have shown problems of wear out even the SUV it is installed is seldom used. It shows sign of power depletion. Returning it for the first time, they just changed the battery solution and charge it overnight.
I thought that solves the problem. Not until the 23rd month where it again discharges and my SUV wont start. After charging it in my garage for 2 hours, it started, brought again to the store and have it checked. It shows two cells worn and have to be replaced. I don't know if this is just an isolated case but having reached the max. warranty limit I have to purchase again a new battery.
Prior to this Amaron, I'm using 3sm Motolite Gold which has lasted me 7 yrs. on the same SUV. The car is seldom used, the reason for long battery life and quite really surprise that the Amaron did not even reached half the life of the Motolite Gold.
There you go guys..First hand experience from me. I will never try Amaron again...Back to Motolite..Mahusay pa rin gawang pinoy kahit mahal..![]()
mas maganda talaga sa seldom used na auto may battery tender/trickle charger, lalo na kung short trips ginagamit
My Amaron Hi-Life 115D31L (3SMF; 160 mins RC, 90Ah) is just a little over 6 months old. It's still snappy and starts my 2.5 D4D like it's about to destroy the starter... ang bilis ng redondo. I'd be happy if it'll last 4-5 years.
The OEM battery was an Oriental 80D26L (2SM; 133 mins RC, 68 Ah). That guy lasted 3 years and 4 months (40 months).

Tip: kung may white formation sa battery post.. just use hot water to wash it away..
my motolite is like that, when old it weeps acid, which corrodes the hold-down bracket. also creeps down to the metal tray that the batter is sitting on which gets corroded as well
i had to recoat the bracket w/ epoxy primer to restore it to factory condition
i have always wanted to try the Amaron but the location of the dealer in my place is quite far. if any problems developed, it would be another hassle for me.
what i discovered is the green motolite battery i am using would always fail a month before the warranty expiry date. ilang beses na nangyari to so for a price of one battery + the free warranty battery,
more or less almost 4 years ang gamit on a daily driven car. not bad
