isn't voltage regulation part of the alternator's innards electronics?
but yes, it is probably a gamble, with today's electronics-laden cars.
but in older, electromechanical cars, it would probably be "acceptable".

    Good day mga sir.
I need help in replacing my car battery. I'm planning to get a AMARON Battery. Di ko lang po alam kung anong size/specs ba talaga ang dapat for my car.
Honda City Type Z 2002 a/t po ang car ko. Nakalagay kasi na battery ay Motolite Enduro NS60LS. Any recommendations or suggestions on what to do or consider? Thanks in advance!

Thanks sir ray_noel. Pero upon doing some research sa internet ang nakalagay lang from the factory is ns40, safe kaya po na ns60ls pa din ang ilagay ko? [emoji848][emoji848][emoji848]

    Have you check their website?

Amaron Hi Life Specification | Amaron Lasts Long Really Long

You’ll see there is ns60ls... check if it has the same specifications sa enduro nyo...

    motolite is an established name.
    amaron is a relative unknown.
if you are going to sell amaron, you will have to come up with something, to attract customers. if not price... or warranty.. extra service.. etc.
otherwise, "why should the customers go to you and not to the mas kilalang motolite" ?

    and i like tower's idea.

Most people swear by Motolite. But these same people are also aware that Motolite batteries often don't last beyond 2 years. Kung magbenta ka, Motolite ka na para babalik at babalik customers mo. Pag Amaron isang bilihan 5-7 years di mo na sila makikita. [emoji23] Though I would suggest you also sell Amaron on the side, as a premium alternative.

My amaron lasted for 3 years 3 months. It didn't even give any indication it was about to die.

I don't know what is a trickle charger I think I got lucky with my Gen 10. That car NEVER had any sort of repair since I bought it in 2010 (except when I claimed warranty with the AC). It's more tibay than my AE101!

    i know what you mean.
i bought my relative's altis on a whim.
now, i am hee-ing and haw-ing, deciding on whether i should sell it or retain it.

trickle charger. it's something vaguely similar to some post-ers' intelligent battery charger.

I'd sell my Gen 11 before my Gen 10. I guess there are exceptionally well made units (for some reason) and we are lucky to get them hehe

We replaced one of our 5+ year old Amaron batteries even though it was still in fair condition. The car's often driven long distances by a female family member na marunong lang mag drive (but somewhat clueless about car maintenance) kaya pinapalitan na namin. Kami rin kasi mahihirapan na tatawagan niya for help if her car won't start in the middle of nowhere...

Kaya I don't consider "lady driven" a plus point when I see a used car for sale. More often than not, neglected yun na vehicle.
