that is the only way they can increase their sales. right now they are increasing their presence sa shops, but thats not enough. majority would still prefer to have the battery delivered. specially if the old battery is already dead.

Amaron is still cheaper compared to Motolite

that's sad to hear. madali pa naman sana kausap si ma'am jenny

but it's also a welcome development na meron na din nagbebenta sa sucat. at least dumadami na ang pwede bilhan ng amaron batts sa south. so far there's one i know in alabang and another one in las pinas. sa presyo na lang lang sila maglalabanan

btw bro vincent hao, may name & contact no ba kayo ng shop along sucat ave? nag dedeliver kaya sila?

Changed my battery to a 2SM Amaron last week. Should have asked my mechanic where his supplier is located. Bought it at 5.2k. Haven't traded in the old battery since I'll trade it in another shop for 500php.

Ms jenny is the name of the owner of powerstruck?

Even with some haggling, she will not even give any less. But she is really after the trade in of the old battery. That is counted as the discount. I even pointed out to her the lower price of the battery I bought from her just a year ago. But she wouldn't budge. They priced their amaron in a way that just add a few hundred pesos away, an equivalent AC delco can be purchased already.

After 44 months eh bumigay na yung Amaron Hi Life 3SM battery ko.

Hindi na masama yung performance kasi yung motoltite n pinalitan nito noon eh lagpas lang ng 2 years ng bumigay.

Replaced it with same spec sa Jawe. Cost me 5.7k

Question: aside from what's on the spec sheet, are there other differences between the HI LIFE and PRO series?

After years of frustrations with Motolite batteries dying exactly a month or two past the warranty period, nag-convert na ako to Amaron. Just bought a DIN 45 PRO from Bezz-J sa Buendia. Free delivery naman at sana tumagal nga.

Amaron Pro has higher price due to longer warranty and bigger charge capacity, even if same physical size as Hi-Life. The starting current for your engine is fixed so whichever battery you use does not matter.

If the batteries don't get charged, the Amaron Pro will be able to start your engine more times than the Hi-Life. Let's say just for example, Pro will be able to start your engine 5 times while Hi-Life can start your engine 4 times.

Similar lang yan sa rechargeable AA batteries. I have Eneloop (White) with 1900mAh charge and Eneloop Pro (Black) with 2550mAh charge. Same physical size, different capacities.

I opted the Amaron Pro 65B24LS over Amaron 46B24LS (1SN) due to the former's higher capacity. Both batteries can fit the battery tray though.

Below are some info about the batteries I compared:

    Battery 65B24LS 46B24LS
    Capacity *20Hrs 50AH 45AH
    CCA 420 -
    RC 74 -
    Price (Jawe) P4,300 P3,800
    Price (Pollux) P4,900 P4,300
    Warranty (Jawe) 24mos 21mos
    Warranty (Pollux) 21mos 21mos

However, Pollux gives 6mos warranty for taxi.

Does anyone know why locally made batteries are being tested at 10Hrs while imported once are tested at 20Hrs?

I have high hopes for this Amaron Pro. Hopefully it will last for 5 years since these are the same batteries being sold in India.
