What the **** is happening at motolite battery they are now so expensive as ****. The suggested retail price of motolite Gold today is 5,600 if you trade your old battery it will cut the cost by 400 so 5,200. Went through 3 motolite stores to canvass their prices the cheapest is 4,800 BTW the battery handle now is like a cheapo made to lessen the cost WTF ?

Sir with due respect champion brand by motolite, is not a good quality budget battery.
My neighbor recently bought one, when he brought it home after it was initially recharge it won't start, we were lucky that we were able to convince the dealer that the money be returned. Then we proceed to Metrobat Mktg. in Sta Ana and got the Panasonic battery, and after a few minutes of initial recharge, the car started convincingly. hehe![]()
sir, san po ba dealer ng Amaron? our ford everest badly need battery replacement. and seeing na close yung price while having a better review, interested ako to try this new brand.
Saan location mo sir? If your from the north side area, ok na banawe but south, Minerava Westgate Meron amaron.
Got one 3SM Amaron from Jawe, priced at 5.4k. They accept Trade-in for 300 pesos.
Now, it is just a matter testing if it will last 2years or more
Previous battery pala is Motolite Gold N70, SRP is 6.6k na ata, but i think meron nagbebenta samin ng around 6.3k
edit:
gusto ko sana i-back yung claim ng better starting at cranking power VS motolite gold, but sad to say, I already forgot the feeling when the Motolite gold we used before is still new so baka placebo effect lang mangyari (kaso pakiramdam ko, mas okay talaga to)
Just bought a 3SMF Amaron battery from Paramount in my hometown of Lipa City, Batangas over the weekend. Price is 5.8K, 5.3K after trade-in of my old battery. That old battery was a Motolite Gold, which lasted for 2 years and 8 months (I had the car (pre-owned) last July 2012 only, but the battery receipt was dated March 2011.)
When I was doing the canvassing, the guy from Metrobat recommended that shop in Lipa after I told him I'm from there. Okay naman na daw yun (5.8K) considering na it's provincial price. Metrobat's price for the 3SMF is 5.4K before trade-in. Dun sa shop, I tried haggling pero they wouldn't budge. heheh.
I just hope that this battery is as good as its 50+ pages of tsikot "advertisement". heheh!
Seriously, if this dies before 3 years of use, I'd be disappointed, knowing that this carries a 5-year warranty sa India, where it came from.
This is the same shop I mentioned in my post above. Correction lang, Flying V yung gas station sa dulo ng Lipa (Tambo) exit of STAR tollway. Anyway, under construction na din naman sa site na yun, so it's irrelevant.
May signage na yung shop (Paramount), and they carry multi-brands. May free Amaron sticker pala, heheh. Kinabit ko na din, tabingi nga lang daw, sabi ni misis.
I really hope I made the right choice in buying this.
