Amaron battery

just bought amaron 3smf sa jawe, Php 5400 less 300 para sa old battery. pagpihit ng susi ng prado LJ78 , start agad wala ng heater pa.

Sir miko since na same lang ng manufacturer na Jonston Controls..... ung AC Delco on par with Amaron battery?

sa aspect siguro ng quality control sa planta at battery production at management procedures same ang amaron with AC Delco...
pero dahil mas mura ang amaron compared sa mga Optima/Ac Delco/ Varta, eh meh difference yan sa construction at materials used...

pero for the price and Spec nang amaron mas ok siya among all locally available brands na hindi high end...

since global brand and global company gumagawa mas kampante ako sa amaron keysa sa mga motolite/outlast, etc....
not to malign the locally available brands, pero pag sa spec sheets talagang luge tayo sa binibigay ng local brands in terms of quality and performance...

pero kung kaya ko lang sa budget, hahahaha.. i will definitely buy optimas and Ac delco's.. hehehe.. kaso mahal eh!

since i've been reading about amaron batteries here, gusto ko na i-try magpalit ng baterya. i have been using a motolite enduro and i think more than three years na rin sya sa akin. there were several times in the past na after two days na di ko sya nagamit, discharged na at di na maka-start ng makina. pero i just continued using the car and let the battery get charged at nag-okay naman ulit. been using the battery more than a year since that happened.



just a few weeks ago, na-diskarga na ng tuluyan yung baterya ng civic ni utol, kaya yung motolite enduro ko na lang in-offer ko sa kanya. bumili ako ng amaron sa jawe sa banawe, at binigay ko na lang yung enduro sa utol ko. P3,500 eksakto kasi di na ako nag-trade in nung lumang battery. unang bukas ko pa lang nung sa amaron na, you switch it on at andar agad. di mo na kelangan na sort of i-crank pa. i mean halos walang delay yung pag-start.

but again, in fairness dun sa enduro tagal ko rin siya nagamit at still working fine pa rin sa kotse ni utol.

okay, thanks for your inputs sir miko. mahal nga AC Delco I think there is a separate discussion on that battery brand.

magpapalit na ako ng batt, gusto ko matry tong amaron mukhang sulit.

A week ago , i bought amaron battery at Jawe at banaue, no problem naman for a week, ganda nga ng cranking, 1click start agad.

This morning pumunta kami ng family sa subic, no problem din papunta doon, , ganda ng trip kasi walang traffic.

Watched superman at the mall at subic.

Now time to go home, opened the rig via remote OK, inserted the key, no reaction, tried again, no reaction again

battery was DEAD. buti na lang nakabukas pa ng door.

Amaron battery that is only 1 week old, was not working, hassle pa naman kasi malakas ang ulan.

Solution made was to buy a new battery AGAIN just to be able to go home.

Ano kaya nangyari dito sa amaron battery ko ? I have nothing against the battery but i am just wondering what happened ??? Wala naman electrical prolem since one week ko na siyan ginagamit wala namang nagyari na ganoon...

Tommorrow ibabalik ko yung battery sa Jawe.... Open kaya sila pag sunday ?

sa haba ng byahe parang alternator problem. dapat nagcharge yun on the way to subic. kahit may sira yung battery I still think it could retain charge for a day since ginamit na for a week.

But still have it checked, baka nga factory defect. check for charging.

Pareng Retz, it's Johnson Controls. I didn't correct the threadstarter since he posted this in 2012 pero to prevent future mistakes might as well say

Second, don't fall for marketing talk such as silver in your plating for longer life. That's useless as silver doesn't hold a charge.. they simply conduct them.

The nearest shop na alam ko from Pasig area is along Sumulong highway... Espejo Tire Supply... They carry Amaron batteries... siguro from Ligaya/South Supermarket mga around 15min pa.

Yeah sounds like that it didn't charge hence an alternator problem, i also incurred such trouble before.

The selling point of amaron is not the silver content but the lead they use(for me that is)which is not recycled but still this battery has not yet been fully tested under Philippine setting since it's still relatively new, a better alternative to motolite which for decades dominates our market
