That brand is unheard of here in Cebu until I read this thread and many positive feedbacks! I found a store that sells AMARON in Cebu and it's very near to Motolite regional distributor, they quote me 6k for 3smf so I haggle and got 5,800 and they say that it comes with 24-month warranty (that's 2 years!) Then I sold the dead battery to RAMCAR for 400 pesos (3smf). 5800-400=5400 pesos! not bad deal for me! This to be installed in my 1994 L200 pick-up truck. (For Cebu based tsikoteers PM me for the name and address of the store).

where in cebu do they sell amaron batteries?

just bought amaron 1SNF at 3.9K petot. The owner, mac was so kind explaining in details the Amaron Pro, Amaron Go etc.. as well as comparing amaron to other brands like panasonic. etc... I ended up buying the amaron hi-life, I think hi-life is bang for the buck. I would like to recommend Metrobat marketing at tejeron makati for his great service. pansin ko walang halong bola ang sales talk at sincere ang suggestions nya. great job mac. Yung 2SM Bosch Silver namin lasted 4 yrs 11mos. Napalitan lang kasi lagi nad-discharge. So bumili kami ng bagong battery Panasonic 2SM MF din (calcium ata). AFter a few days, na-discharge din. Turns out, sira pala yung Alternator. haha.

so the Bosch could've lasted longer had we had the Alternator checked first (dad's vehicle).

Lesson: Check your alternator first upon signs of discharging.

Okay na yang 3 years magamit battery. Pero try ko yang amaron, motolite 3smf gold talagang 21-22months lang eh. Tignan natin amaron. hehe

So to those in the know, ang sabi lang sa akin is may bandang Puregold Makati daw sila. Along Kalayaan side nga ba or JP Rizal?

Even checked with the barangay tanod at the outpost. Wala daw talagang ganun doon ang sabi niya. At iilan na daw ang nagtanong about that. Hehehe!

Kapag galing ka ng osmena highway southbound, left sa pinaka-unang pwedeng mag-left turn (nakalimutan ko na kasi yung pangalan ng kalsada na yun. basta yung may petron sa right side tska yung ubod ng gulo na intersection. hehe) tapos straight lang then mag u-turn ka kapag nakita mo na yung puregold sa right side. Yung shop niya nung last na punta ko parang color silver yung mga roll-up gates. May nagbebenta din ng amaron doon sa likod ng amaron. Carland ata pangalan nung shop nila. Not sure lang sa price difference. HTH
