Statemotor will also carry AUVs but not Great Wall. Another brand. I'm not yet in liberty to announce what brand. Maybe in the next few months. Meron nang sample units sa planta.

The FMC Jeepneys and Anfra will also come out with Chinese engine versions para mas mura. Ofcourse with some local components. Timetable? ...maybe mid next year.

guys, basta sa akin lang. mabigyan ng trabaho ang pinoy, magkaroon ng technology transfer,mabuhay uli ang pinoy car industry,masaya na ako dyan. ako mismo hndi ako bibili ng kotse dahil maaaring aalis ako ng bansa for work,but if its for our fellow pinoys and tsinoys...morale support ibibigay ko. i just hope na hindi pasukan ng mga anay at mga bwiset na trapo at mga makakapal ang mukha sa gobyerno ang mga ito.

Negative. Not JAC or Foton. It's another Chinese brand. I am not yet in liberty to disclose coz hindi pa planchado ang deal. Meaning, it could still change.

Correct! And we have to produce a cheaper alternative with lighter payment terms para madaling bawiin ng mga operators. That's what we are currently working on with regards to the jeepney.

If we really want to local assemblers to survive and have our own brand, we need to patronize first the local industry. Today 50% of the cars sold in the country is CBU and it could increase by next year. How can the small assemblers compete with good quality inexpensive CBU cars?

So if the Anfra is back, this should be our top choice if we plan to buy UV. The industry is very small, for FMC to compete they need our support if we want to have our own vehicle brand and FMC to produce FASHIONABLE, acceptable quality and competitive vehicles.

First, Oficially 125k (CAMPI numbers). Alam ko di kasama yung maraming sasakyan na galing gray market...i.e. friendly neighborhood jeepney, owner type, xlt, passad, multicab, elf na jeep or jeep na elf, wrangler, Cavite humvee, hummer ni Alana, MDJuan jeep kits, tricycle, kuliglig, secod hand galing Korea kasi humina Japan....baka plus 50k-100k na sasakyan

Second, sobrang mahal kasi ng sasakan dito. Binibilang ba dyan benta ng mga second hand dealer?Pag dumating ang panahon na mas murang magpalit ng bago kesya mag-alaga ng luma or second hand lalaki demand ng sasakyan dito.

Third, similar with the motorcycle industry, dapat hayaan dumating ang Chinese brands...bumaba ang presyon, nainganyo pa mga Pinoy na gumawa ng sarili na mas mura at may kkalidad. Hintayin nating ma-develop ang MCX at Blaze (local brand) at eventually dadami ang local content ng motorsiklo nila.

Ganun din ang local brand. nangyari na yan yung panahon ni Cory, humataw ang local AUV kaya napoilitan sumali ang mga Japanese. kaya lang may nagsabotahe.

Yes, yan sa palagay ko ang NEO (ala matrix) ng local vehicle industry. Sya pa lang naman ang may history na local brand na bumenta talaga. Sayang yung Delta Min Cruiser, bakit ayaw i-revive ng creator nito si Dante Silverio.

Ang Sarao puede. pero kailangang ayusin nila ang jeep nila. Gawin na AUV or jeep na moderno hndi yung jeepney na nakikita natin.

Thats why Im optimistic sa FMC-Statemotors baka they might made a difference. Yung Chery nangako ng assembly dito hndi natupad. Geely mag-assemble daw Subic. Foton ganun din. Mukhang Great Wall lang siryosong mag-assemble dito.
