Im hoping FMC will be back with the help of Great Wall Motors of China. Its because judging from the photos of their models, they look really good. maybe putting some OEM parts made in the Philippines will make them alot better

Thank you for your inputs. Hopefully maayos na ang mga necessary permits for our KD department so we could already implement programs that you are suggesting.

Sana we can see the return of FMC in CAMPI via Great Wall of China.

I see alot of potential in this company.

Sana, you can arrange with Great wall to put (even SKD)more Philippine made parts from MVPMAP ( Yazaki-Torres, Yokohama,Motolite, Roberts etc.)
Unfortunately, it wouldn't be the return of FMC in CAMPI but more on the entry of Statemotor Corporation in CAMPI 'if ever'. Statemotor Corporation is the main proponent in the Great Wall Motor project.

Use of Philippine made parts is really the best option when we go to KD dahil madaming Philippine made parts and products na mas maganda at mas matibay pa kaysa sa Chinese made.

100% Philippine made vehicles is the ultimate goal of every Filipino in the automotive industry. But there are still many obstacles that we should circumnavigate before we could succeed in that premise. If it's that easy, siguradong nagawa na yon ng MVPMAP or any of the CAMPI members and naka take-off na yon by now. But just like what MVPMAP did with their PhUV, great cooperation is really essential to be able to do it. Kailangan din ng malaking budget to come up with a very nice design, to meet the safety standards and maging fully functional close to perfection para tangkilikin din ng market. Then, tsaka na mag mass production. We will get there but I still can't tell how long.

Let me assure you that Statemotor Corporation, under the leadership of Mr. Allen Roxas, has more than enough capital to start with and hires the best people for the respective jobs be it in operations, administration, production, accounting, etc. Statemotor Corporation is a subsidiary of State Properties and State Properties is owned by State Investment Trust Inc. which had been in business since the 1970s. Teaming up with FMC which had been in the automotive industry since 1947, this venture will go a long way.

With this, we are bringing in the best variant of every Great Wall vehicle models so as to give the Filipino people the best that China can offer as of today. But together with Great Wall Motor Company Ltd and the help of the local automotive industry, we will strive to make these products even better.

All the best people in the world will be for nothing if the dealers and after-sales support suck. Statemotor has to make sure that their dealers do not take their customers money and run. Kawawa naman si Mr. Roxas kung mangyari yun.

Will it be a joint venture or it will be State Motors only for Great wall?

At last we agree on something. You are correct. That is why the dealer selection process and credit investigation is very thorough, very strategic and very strict.

Statemotor Corporation only. FMC cannot be the proponent as FMC is strictly for Jeepneys and Anfras (and Mazda before). Just like before, Hyundai and Fiat were under a different corporation. Only this time, the part of Francisco in Great Wall Motor vehicles is more on the technical and marketing side.

By the way Xenomorph2007, it seems to me that you just created your particular tsikot.com account last August 31, 2009 to sabotage and disrupt this previously peaceful and constructive forum. If you have personal issues, I suggest that you air your grievances elsewhere and let the peace loving car enthusiasts, like us in this forum, continue to constructively contribute to the betterment of the automotive industry. Sa barangay ka nalang magreklamo.
