May 2nd, 2013 05:48 AM #101Yun din intindi ko so I reconfirmed sa dealer ang sagot sa kin sabi daw ng engineer sa planta use either green or blue fuel. Upon checking with petron the color codes are: unleaded = green; xcs = red; blaze = blue.
Also mag iimprove pa kaya ang FC after the break in?

Technically all gasoline now are unleaded, regardless of octane raiting or level of ethanol blend.
Part of the Philippines Clean Air Act of 1999 was the elimination of lead by January 2001.

If the octane rating is not inside the fuel filler lid, try the owner's manual, its probably near the back.
On the Mk2 Focus for example, it says Minimum of 95 octane on the owner's manual and inside the fuel filler lid, so I usually load XCS (which is 95 octane).Last edited by AG4; May 3rd, 2013 at 01:20 AM.

May 7th, 2013 02:36 PM #103Wow! Ganda ng Sonic mo. Welcome to the club!
Good thing partially hard plastic na black yung side mirrors kaya walang gasgas.
Got my plate last week. Almost 3mos din hinantay ko. Ingat pala sa byahe sa north. Balita ko ienforce daw ng pnp yung no plate no travel na policy during election period.

May 7th, 2013 05:36 PM #104Thanks!
Good to know na durable yung side mirrors coz mukhang mahal pag nasira pero I love the autofold feature magagamit yan ng husto sa lucena.
Kumusta FC mo?

May 11th, 2013 08:51 AM #106Sa sonic owners, napapansin nyo ba kung lumalambot ang steering over time? Hindi namin alam na hydraulic steering pala before buying coz it read it in the reviews. Didn't have the time din for a test drive wala kasing malapit sa lucena.

May 30th, 2013 12:49 PM #109Wow...naiinggit naman ako. I have been thinking of getting the m/t sonic for some months now. The only thing that really bothers me is the issue of it being underpowered as compared to the other sub compacts out in the market. Giving away at least 20hp...sa mga owners jan, is it really an issue or okay naman ba ung performance?
TIA
