I think you could unfold the side mirror of captiva and stretch it more than the usual.

Look at your owners manual. It's in a chart sa bandang likod ng manual. Meron maintenance schedule doon. Browse your manual and practically everything's there including safe driving habits. Hope you enjoy your Captiva.

Had my 80K PMS done by Mario (home service). I am satisfied with his service. He checked on everything ala casa style according to my wife. I bought all materials in Seiring. used Kixx oil. So far so good. Laki natipid ko kay Mario.

I already asked last week when i went there. It's actually 5k KMS for the 1st PMS. I'll double check the manual as well. Thanks for the reply.

hi guys may nakapagdala na ba ng captiva nila sa sagada/banaue or any part sa mountain province?
madalas ako mag hike/bike/camping. i'm no offroader but i'd like to know if it's capable on dirt/unpaved roads - marami kasi niyan sa mountain province. i'm looking for a cuv 4x4 and considering the captiva. choices ko escape, xtrail, captiva(gas or dsl), in order of preference. out of the budget na ang 4x4 midsized suv or pickup eh.

gudpm bros, i'm just asking for a friend and he was told that Fronte & Seiring is the source of parts to buy, is there any other shops aside from the two?

standard na stiff ang price ng mga original parts like brake pads (front & rear) and filters (oil & fuel), mga bros could you suggest other brands na compatible sa ride na ito na mas mura but efficient in the long...

Walang katulad, dre. Kakain ng usok ang 4x2 montero at fortuner. Sarap ihataw.

Ang parts bababa din preyo nyan pag establish na ang chevrolet at marami ng nagbenbenta ng piyesa. Ang mazda mahal din naman dahil bago din ang SUV nya. Yung disc pad madali namang remedyohan, pwede namang break pad rebond.

bought kixx oil at seiring, cost me 1700 for the 6L, then oil filter is 770, air filter is less than 700 pesos. big savings compared to casa, then had it serviced at rapide for 600 pesos, rapide actually owns chevy shaw and westgate.

Good Morning. I just had our Captiva serviced by Chevrolet Carmona last July 23. After a few days, I noticed that whenever I start the car, the speedometer moves and then goes back to zero. I called them and they said it's normal? is it true? Another problem now, tha abs light is always on, what could be the problem? I hope you can help me on this. Thanks.

HI, im a captiva 2009 owner.
Yes, that's normal. usually it happens when you turn your key to on-position
the speedometer and rpm rotate to its max and goes back to zero.
when it goes back to zero that the time you switch/turn your key to start your engine.
the ABS-light stays on fro reason that, your hand-break maybe in position or
that you have just turn your engine-ON. its must go-off when you start running
    otherwise a failure was detected.

Be familiar with the manual too.

You probably have a defective wheel speed sensor. This will cause both speedometer and abs light problem. Have it checked by the casa.

With the ABS always lit, it means the ABS is not functioning. The ABS needs all 4 wheel speed sensors to properly function. The car however will function like normal if driven casually, i.e., no hard braking.
