Do u have a chevy? since your here? are there any solution about the Transmission issue? I'm so sad for my wife. Since I have the best ride, our VGT monty! =)
No sir I don't have a Chevy. I based it on some posts here in tsikot and from the Cruze of my good friend. Acceleration is really slow, then based on what some forumers said, it is due to the transmission.

My nick in MSCP is the same here in tsikot. I'm not an active member/forumer anymore. Still have the Montero but might be replacing it next year with the new Chevy Trailblazer. I'll tell you the reason thru PM.

so they just accepted the chevy cruze A/T to be slow? =(

All along i thought it was the Chevy's ECU that needs upgrading from the CASA.

Which variant has that coarse, fabric trimmings in the dash and interior doors ??Accidental spillage or scratches can be a potential and permanent eyesore. I would like it positioned overhead instead..

Even its predecessor (Optra) is slow in terms of acceleration. But it does make you happy when you push it to its limits.

Had some time comparing Cruze variants at Chevy Pasig today. Interior trims for LS are nice except the cloth trimmings on the dash and doors that could be dirt magnets. It also matches the seat material tones but a set of seat covers can be a saving grace. Premium LT abounds with leather appointments and duplicates the tone settings of LS. It does excite one's visual and smell senses to a higher level
Exterior appearance differences hardly noticeable among high and low variants though mags configurations from 16" to 17" contribute better looking stance for LT.
Setting aside financial constraints and prioritizing available resources I am increasingly tempted to settle for a family car that exudes simple yet classy looks, a product that don't compromise safety, not stingy on modern features, and iconic badge that commands prestige and respect.
I love Olympic White Cruze LT in my garage..!!

*marlboro thank you..White Cruze has my vote..I'm cautiously weighing economical, easy on the wallet options..seasonal worries equally important as it could spell ownership burdens - flooded, silted canals and waterways..Xmas is not too far to grab better deals..Kunting pansensya.. It's a virtue and doesn't cost a centavo..hehe..

My Cruze was tested already in Manila's flooded street upto 3/4 of the tires. Was so scared na papasok ang tubig sa loob pero to my surprised it didn't happen. Ang takot ko noon at baka titirik ako pero thank God, hindi nangyari. So far, hindi pa ako pinapahiya ng cruze ko. Value for money talaga.

*hayvlad hindi pa po ako nag file ng auto loan with Chevy Pasig on my last visit..besides I felt on the losing end paying more on interest spread out into no less than 3 stressful years..
My past experiences with auto loans either I traded-in my old unit then pay the balance max 1 year or pay half the SRP so I get lesser interest at 11percent for 1year payment..
Bank approval depends on which bank you normally get the loan. In my case the SA does the CI the day after filing the loan by visiting your place of residence and asking a photo copy of current bank account/s..Pag good payor approval is granted within an hour as confirmed from SA..otherwise di ko na aalamin knowing wala naman mawawalang pera sa akin..meron pa naman ako sariling unit nagagamit..
One may feel bad about being disapproved or being side-stepped..then comes the sour-graping phase..at the end of the day reality sets in, just let it pass knowing tomorrow is another day, another opportunity..patience and perseverance pays..nangyari na sa akin
    iyan..
I wish you get approve and bring home your prized Cruze soonest..

Hi mga Big Bro. Im a spark owner sorry kung napunta ako sa thread nyo.
*hayvlad - yes po naaaprove ang low down promo nila (like me) pero depende po sa credit status mo. If meron ka bang bad history sa credit line mo or what so ever.

Example low down promo 60k srp nung auto if hindi promo 548k (Spark po ito). Since low down promo ko ang srp mo iba na it will be around 800k+. Why? Example lang ulit ito kasi hindi ko alam ang tamang presyo

    Car Dealer promo
    Down: 68,000
    Monthly: 13,027
Free: Dvd W/ gps, Foglamps, Mags, Rain Visor, LTO, Chattel, Insurance, tint. matting and Seat Cover Leatherette
    13k x 60 months = 780k for 5 years + 68k (down mo) = 848k - natin ang amount ng freebies para makita mo kung ano srp nung low down mo if walang freebies (freebies) = (free 20k DVD, 13k Foglamps, 15k Mags, 2k Rain Visor, Lto 10k, Chattel 20k, insurance 20k, 3k Seat Cover Leatherette = total 103k) so 848k - 103k = 745k.

    Car Dealer not promo
    Down: 110,000
    Monthly: 11,000
Free: LTO, Chattel, Insurance, tint. matting and plain seat cover
    11x60 = 660k + 110k (down) = total 769k - 50k (freebies) = 699k (free Lto 10k, Chattel 20k, insurance 20k = total 50k)

    Yan po hope it helps

My suggestion if you can buy the car using your own bank (lower interest rate compared to the in house) and you can buy the accesories outside of the dealer go with your bank and you will save big money as in big money.

For them to find out if you are eligble for the low down they will compute ur monthly expenses
    Gas (since kukuha ka auto)
    Food (Ulam)
    Rice
    Electric
    Water
Rent (if ur renting a house)
    Pldt/DSL (if you have one)
    Sama mo na yosi :D
Palagay natin all of this expenses around 15k

So if 13k monthly mo at sweldo mo is around 20k mahirap ka ma approve kasi 5k matitira sa sweldo mo.

Now if you go with your bank remember shoulder mo ang chattel at mortgage pero LTO sagot na ata ng chev yan.
