I feel sorry for you bro. It's a small setback. If it would make you feel any better. Meron din bumili ng Lancer EX GTA last week. After a week, nawala daw yung lamig ng aircon. Nung pina-check... may leak daw yung compressor! 200Km palang natakbo. And it would take until 3rd week of January bago daw dumating piyesa.

And meron din ako nabasa sa Cruze International Forum. Exactly the same as your experience. Natamaan din yung condenser. If you want I can look for the link.

ano ang rason dito? acceleration? talaga ba mahina ang acceleration ng cruze?

Kumakain ng load ang air-con once naka engage ang compressor. This is only when passing uphill especially kung puno. Ganun talaga ang pagmamaneho sa bundok. But it doesn't mean na di kaya ng Cruze. It is one way also of taking care of the engine.

Sa mga naka modify or added accesories, saan ninyo nabili? Meron ba specific store in Banawe para sa Cruze na madami accesories and okay ang price?

wohoo..tagal byahe nio sir.. same lang tau. pagbaba ko i left baguio 1pm exact. tapos 7:15pm asa house na kame here sa qc. hindi nako nag cavite pagod na. hahahaha sa SCITEX i tri kung gaano kabilis poero malas ata . that time ang dame bantay sa SCITEX, kaya nagawa ko 155kph. ang ges what, i feel humihingi pa siya hehe/ sayang sir hindi manlang tayo nakapang abot. light gold na cruze lang nakita ko sa baguio....

i wanted to take it faster too but i also saw the patrol trucks. I would speed up then slow down near the overpasses since i thought the trucks w/ radars were hiding there hehe.

No need to turn off the AC unless kung abnormal ang temp ng makina sa incline driving(overheating)....sa overtaking, kung sa D, push the accelerator pedal down to the floor(malakas ito sa gaso),otherwise use the manual mode,select the proper gear and speed off...

With the Cruze I don't feel much of a difference whether the a/c is on or off. With my old 92 Sentra if I want to over take i sometimes have to turn off the a/c with a full load of passengers. The aircon of my sentra takes so much horsepower out of the engine. So i'm pretty satisfied with the Cruze..even with aircon on at level 3 or full blast and full of passengers i'm confident with overtaking.

Thanks KrisKros! I've been dreaming about this car since I saw and test drove it last September. Will surely take mine for a road trip. I'm planning to take it up to the hill then down to the beach. Just like I used to do. Can't wait! :studsmatta:

I just googled "rock condenser car" and i'm seeing lots of similar problems that sir Marlboro is having with other models..especially with the Honda Fit (jazz). I'm thinking of adding mesh behind my grill after reading all those things and hearing about what happened to Marlboro.

I just googled "rock condenser car" and i'm seeing lots of similar problems that sir Marlboro is having with other models..especially with the Honda Fit (jazz). I'm thinking of adding mesh behind my grill after reading all those things and hearing about what happened to Marlboro.

hmmm ganun pala KRIS .. napaka sensitive pa naman ng aircon condenser, how about a mesh with multiple tiny holes in order for continues ambient temperature supply .. sa pag kaka intindi ko it was place in eng cabins head in order to breath, yun nga lang prone naman sya sa mga ganitong insidente... magpapalagay nalang siguro ako at nang d pa to mangyari sa mrs ko pag wala ako ...haysss gastos 2011
