Just go to the front and kneel down. You will see the 4 open sections at the grill while the other 2 ends are closed with black plastic.

Silipin niyo at makikita niyo na since it's open derecho ito sa condenser. Kaya any flying objects na magaling lumusot kung saan yong walang takip ay dederecho talaga sa condenser and whoala gagastos ka na.

IF THIS IS NOT A DESIGN FLAW, then they (CHEVROLET) should consider placing a MESH there to prevent a similar incident to happen na nakaka-highblood and not to mention the fact na gagastos ka pa.

Hindi ako sa nagmamarunong but in designing something - lahat ng WHAT IFs ay dapat tingnan. Lahat ng anggulo ay titingnan and I RECOMMEND for them to RECHECK their design.

Magkano lang ba ang MESH? Wala pang 500 pesos compared to thousands of pesos na iaabala sa mga owners?

I know it is not good to start the new year na nakasimangot pero I can't help it, tao lang ako ang pinaghirapan ko ang bawat sentimo na lumalabas sa aking bulsa.

here are before and after shots after 3hrs of cleaning. ok na sanang maglinis kaso nakakawalang gana yong small dent sa hood at chip sa paint sa door. hindi pa man lang nagagamit eh may dent na agad. pakiramdam ko tuloy eh di brand new yong unit.

anyway, sir awallit, may paintless dent removal ba sa inyo?

ang bigat pala ng hood ng cruze, mabigat pa sa tucson...

guys,, question lang po.. what wax ang maganda for a black cruze? kasi kpag tumitingin ako ang dame sa shop hindi kuna malaman kung anu mas ok.. yung tipong wag naman ung mahal pero ok ang result,, thanks guys,, happy new year cruzers....

Sa palagay ko talagang design ito ng Cruze.

Subalit, sa nangyari kay marlboro2000 parang gusto ko isuli o trade-in ang aking Cruze o dapat nag Mitsubishi Lancer EX nalang talaga ako. Hay... sa huli naman talaga ang pagsisisi.

Kung hindi ito maayos ng Chevrolet, malaking chance na totally mababawasan o mawawalan na sila ng customers kahit sa anong produkto nila at marami pa naman akong mga kakilala na interesado din at humihingi ng inputs.

Maganda siguro na magkaroon ng initiative ang Chevrolet na kontakin ang lahat ng mga bumili ng Cruze para mag lagay sila ng libreng mesh na sila mismo ang mag kabit at mag design para hindi ma void ang ano mang warranty.

Just to be the devils advocate, most of the bumpers of cars, doesn't have mesh on the lower portion of the bumpers, and if the picture above is the a/c condenser, then I see this in other cars. Same placement.

Maybe its not the bumper of Cruze at fault, but the condenser material is not strong or the materials are fragile from debris hitting it.

Bumper of my other ride, no mesh on the lower grill of the bumper just like Cruze.

Please correct me if my statement is wrong.

I think tsikot should have an additional rule regarding picture sizes. Limit lang siguro up to " large " of photobucket.

Para na rin tipid sa size .. ;) And mas easier magload.

Here's what I use.
NanoGloss wax - comes with the Microtex kit that came with the car. It's not too expensive when you buy it at Ace.
After waxing it..i like to use NanoSliq to give it a sleek feel and also helps protect the paint, helps protect the wax, and keeps a nice shine.

When dust accumulates(which happens almost immediately after cleaning w/ a black car). I use my Microtex Car Duster to get most of the dust off. Then on each panel i use nanosliq to upkeep the shine. Mostly on the hood since that's where the car takes most of the beating.
I have to admit..during my long lunch breaks during classes i'm in the parking lot dusting off the car haha.

this was taken a day after a wax and nanosliq QD(Quick detailer) session.

I just wanna do a FC check especially to the Cruze vets who've already tallied +5K kms. Please include kms travelled, transmission used, percentage of city driving and lastly recent FC. Also is it true they say that FC gets better as engine mileage increases?

I envy all you Cruze owners, i will be taking a part time job just for me to afford this dream car of mine. I know you guys will say it's worth it and i believe it, right i am "financially challenged" to put it postively .

Thank you for all all posts. I've finally finished reading all 100+ pages....

Though i am not 'yet' a Cruze owner. I hope i am welcome here to ask questions and get your inputs from time to time.

My Cruze LT/AT just hit 3,000+ kms since i got it last Aug. 2010. I use it mostly for highway driving, Baguio-Manila-Baguio. Highway FC consumption is a respectable 15-16kpl, round trip average is around 12-13kpl. I think this is because of the 6-speed automatic transmission. The tachometer reads 1,800rpm at 80kph, along NLEX-SCTEX. It doesn't go above 2,000rpm at 100kph. I use Jetti E10 93 octane gasoline.
