so my "Tirso" Cruze has reached his 500kms birthday mark haha so far been averaging 8-9kms/L pure BF homes-Alabang City driving.. not bad (m/t)...
Really Happy with the performance and overall feel of my car, not a single creek, rattle, squeak, whatsoever , hell even my dads Audi A6 Had minor rattles upon release... lol this car certainly is a welcome back Chevrolet vehicle no tints at night driving gets me a lot of stares especially on the blue illumination interior

Thanks for that reply. I've been definitely been thinking about parts and how i would get things fixed after the warranty ends as well. I was telling my brother, probably right now in Banawe if I needed new brake pads I could get one 2010 altis/vios/civic..but with Chevy there's probably not that option. Still thinking about it a lot. As per what i'm looking for...i think the Cruze has it which is why i like it. nice interior/exterior design, something that would be comfortable for me as well as my passengers during a long drive, has the in car entertainment, big trunk..etc etc. yeah you're right..after driving all those cars that I tested..the Cruze came out on top.

I advice making an appointment call prior to your service so you can be prioritized within the day. Make the appointment at least one day ahead...

    T-Mac,

The free two years PMS is every 10,000kms or 6 months WHICHEVER comes first. Two PMS is basically FREE (the 10K and 20K respectively) or every six months (the 6th and the 12th months from date of sale).... whichever comes first of course.

The Cruze LT has a special function to detect outside air temperature. This sensor also have control to the A/C system and will adjust coldness depending on your setting and ambient temperature.

The sensor happens to be on top of the dashboard. The round thing at the middle of the dash just below the windshield. That is called the Sun Load Sensor. (For LS and L variants, it only functions as alarm blinker).

Now, if you happen to have a full windshield tint (specially the heavy ones), the sensor is fooled to detecting cool outside temperature. Thus adjusting the AC temperature. The effect then will be a hotter cabin temperature as the AC system is detecting cold outside temperature.

This may be the reason for some complaint. But you can by pass this by setting your AC system into a manual mode where you control the setting.

For L and LS variant owners, if you happen to experience insufficient AC cooling, visit your Chevy Dealer for check and adjustment if needed. It should be free under warranty if a defect is found. Free check-up for Chevy Pasig customers.

If Chevy Philippines can do something about it - to improve the coolness inside the cabin - it will be well appreciated (paging our friend Mr. Awallit), instead of us (cruze owners) to shell out some cash to have it covered with foam tube and alluminum tape).

For issues regarding outside air coming into the cabin, please read vehicle manual page 118 re Automatic Air Recirculation and Air Quality Sensor AQS subjects.

Also the warning box in page 114.

    1. bago pa lang ang mga cruze natin kaya wala pang masyadong problema.

    2. the 1st PMS is at 10K kaya iilan pa lang sa atin ang nakapag PMS, except for those who had their cruze checked at 1K or 5K wherein they have to pay since hindi covered sa free PMS.

    4. I have already requested Mr. Awallit to inform their big bosses to have a uniform pricing for parts and labor sa lahat ng kanilang dealers para kung saan tayo malapit doon na lang tayo without having to worry kung tinataga tayo. At para makasigurado, someone suggested to request for a quotation 1st from different service stations para we will know kung anong dealer ang tumataga compared to other service stations.

Malapit na rin ako sa 10K PMS ko and am looking-forward to a trouble-free one.

Yes na test ko dati to sa Chevy Pasig matagal na kaso dalawang ikot lng sa area. Hanapin mo si Allan. Nasa 23K yan. Plug and play lang yan. I want to test sana kahit mga 2 days but don't have time.

Kaninang tanghali sobrang init nang papasok na ako sa work. Walang lamig sa loob pag di ko nilagay sa 4 ang knob and at this setting naman, ang ingay na ng aircon.
