help nman sa mga cruze owners, really need your feedback. planning to get a cruze also.

1. fuel cons ng ls m/t
2. after sale service ( chevy pasig )
3. over-all comment/ratings nyo sa car.
4. any problems that you encountered sa car mismo.


1. fuel consumption is now more or less 8.5 km/L but still rising. it started with aroung 7 km/L lang. My theory is because while the car is still new, everyone likes to play around with it so driving habits are different

2. can't comment here

3. It's pretty great in my opinion. the only downside is that it's really heavy, so it has a slower acceleration compared to the others in its class. For me, it's not that big of a deal because I don't race or anything. But maybe one day, when I have a little extra cash, I might have the car turbo charged
All in all, it would still be my choice if I had to choose all over again.

4. Slow acceleration (not that big of a deal); can't open the trunk from the driver's seat, you have to take out the key to open the trunk or press the button sa trunk to open (hassle to sa mga guard before entering a mall); the standard USA safety feature na nagoopen yung air vents every once in a while so that may oxygen parati sa loob ng car (malas na lang kung may katapat kang jeepney kaso mga 3-5 seconds lang naman every like 1 or 2 hours

BASTA, IT'S THE BEST CAR IN IT'S CLASS IN MY POINT OF VIEW the best thing is it's fresh and very luxurious

Guys. About sa gas... Unleaded w/ 93 octane ang required sa mga Cruze natin di ba? Shell Super Unleaded w/ 93 octane ang ginagamit ko from the start, pero balak ko sana i-try ang may higher octane. I just want to know the pros and cons bukod sa mas gaganda at bibilis ang hatak ng oto natin baka mabilis ding masisira ang makina.

hi cruzers..

got a white LS A/T from chevy pasig... though im from Cebu.
it's now on a boat enroute to Cebu Pier 7.
hopefully, i'll get a hold of it by tomorrow lunchtime.
from what i know, this will be the first white cruze in Cebu.
it's not selling as much here than there..
because of this, i love it even more.

ps: this thread really helped me decide for the cruze.
i read 2 or 3 people are asking here as they intend to buy a new car.
i was like that for over a month, and finally decided after reading comments (good and bad) in this thread.
cruze is far from perfect but definitely one that offers best value.
bottomline, if you have the extra funds, you can definitely get a better car.. but not necessary a better value.

Petron naman ako and I'm using XCS (95+ Octane). Wala naman sinabi sa akin na 93 dapat. Wala naman problema so far, though first gas ko is ung blaze (highest octane), and mas mabilis nga sya, pero magastos :D.

I'd like to know the truth as well , before it's too late

Mas mabuti pag mataas ang octane. Ibig sabihin kaya 93 ang naka lagay sa spec-sheet kasi yun ang minimum na pwede.

I just had my 1st PMS a while ago. 5,501km on my ODO (7 months have passed since I got it).

I spent:
Fully Synthetic Oil = 3,050.00
Oil Filter = 960.00
Brake Cleaner = 280.00
Penetrating Oil = 180.00
Labor = 1,105.00
Miscellaneous = 300.00
Total = 5,875.00

The work done was:
- Change Oil
- Check & Clean Brakes
- Rotate Tires
- Tighten Bolts
- Top up fluids
- Computer Diagnosis
- Wash Car
- Serve coffee
- Flirt w/ pretty SA's (he he joke)

'bigan, yung neutral para sa windshield yun para di madilim when driving especially at night. Magic black and nilagay sa akin sa sides pero 3M brand kaya di gaano madilim sa night driving. If you're sure 3M ang ilalagay, ok lang magic black. 'wag nalang yung super black.

I think this is acceptable na. From Chevy ba yung fully synthetic oil na ginamit mo or bumili ka sa labas what brand? Will have my PMS soon also 7.7K na on my ODO.

Noticed this sound on first few weeks and I knew it was from the rear breaks. Nawala din but still coming pero paminsan minsan lang. But only when you step on the breaks during reverse. Not so big deal for me since bihira lang naman and reverse. But of course we need an explanation why only during reverse and none during forward direction.
