doc I posted this na, anong meron sa Marikina bakit binabaha ng ganun? Kasi yung isang house namin sa Makati malapit sa Pasig River at NEVER kami binaha, aerial view ng google maps maybe less than 1 km in a straight line? So I don't understand bakit nalulubog Marikina. Pero yung isa naman house sa kabilang village creek lang pero may street na binabaha LOL

i do not know. malayo kasi sa bituka yan.

but i believe one of our active tsikoteers is a geology whiz.
let us await his words of enlightenment, once he gets inside from the field and gets off his wellington boots.

Alam ko totoo yung land grabbing but they are still doing it until now? Kawawa naman 94 year old Lola ko! She has to travel tomorrow kasi may dinevelop na subdivision at sumakop sila ng ilang hectares sa property namin! My Lola wants me to come but I don't want to travel too far and and I told my Lola what if her driver has covid? Ewan ko tigas ng ulo May value kasi per niyog (P2k per tree) so if they sakop that nawalan na kami lupa, money loss pa sa trees! Dami daming pera magulang pa rin mga developer na yan!

    Has anyone experienced this?!?!

Developers could be right ... takes a lot of permits and licenses to develop ... in the old days, they just estimated the scope of their properties ... rarely surveyed properly ...

Spoke to my licensed REB friend and she said Villar is doing it up until now. They think they could get away with going beyond their scope siguro, sa kanila tingi lang that land but to others it's a sizable portion na

But you could be right too, within our family there are too much lies and manipulations e. It could be there's another reason why my Lola is taking care of business there and it's not land grabbing.

BTW do they still use the traditional device that looks like a tripod for surveying or drones na?

Big developers will not risk doing that on titled lands ... now if the land is just owned by rights, that's when they do their so-called "land grabbing" ... maybe they use satellites instead of drones ... satellite scans are cheaper nowadays ... but probably still being confirmed by manual surveying ...

This townhouse makes me feel claustro. Walang windows! Only opening would be the front part. I am all for passive cooling/natural ventilation
