Sumali ako sa similar platform ng networking just last last week. 1500 petots ang isang slot, 10k ang exit. Bale may auto re-entry ulit ng isang slot per exit mo so 8500 lang ang pay out. Just got the 8500 last saturday kaya pinangbili ko ng leatherette seat covers.

Sinubukan ko lang naman kasi 1500 lang ang pay in. Ayoko din mag invite at ayoko din magpost na may pamaypay na pera kaya ako silent shopper lang.

Nope, as the song goes - you can check out (exit) anytime you want, but you can never leave.

The leader/financier/mastermind call him/her whatever you want, will initially fund the pyramid but will require those who have exited to continue the cycle. There must be some form of a guarantee or a collateral from the investors.

*leodawesome - did you surrender your ATM card to the upliners?

Yung officemate ko rin yan yung pinasok na MLM recently. How does it work? How does your 1.5k become 10k? Kailangan magrecruit talaga?

I think that is what they called as 1+2. You join with 2 downlines already and you are placed on the waiting list. Those 2 below you will also be required to do a 1+2 to be on the waiting list. Once they do that, you will get your payoff and exit. Those 2 below you who by now are on the waiting list, need to 'force' their downline to do a 1+2 as well. And whole vicious cycle goes on.

Thanks for the detailed illustration bro! Question lang though, if your 1.5k goes back to you, how does the guy who recruited you get his money back?

    Kasi 1.5k x 7 (incl you) = 10.5k.

Or baka bigger amount? Parang 1.8k yata yung sa officemate ko. 1.8k x 6 = 10.8k. Tapos yung 1.8k mo will form the part of the exit prize of your recruiter.

But even then, since it takes 2 levels to hit your 10k prize, the person who was recruited by the person your recruited won't have enough funds to build his 10k prize. Parang cash outflow > inflow even if you continuously recruit.

Kaya nga pyramid bro kasi dapat tuloy2 ang recruitment sa baba so those below you would reach the exit level. The masterbrain should have enough clout on the members to ensure they toe the line and continue investing like confiscating their ATMs or requiring some form of collateral. The leader would keep earning his/her P500 (or P800 in the case of your friend) for each 3 layer. He/she releases his/her own personal money first to pay the first few layers until he/she recoup her initial investments and the rest would be purely hard income.

I have friends who exited the first couple of weeks, took a selfie with their wad of bills, reinvested and up to now still waiting for the next exit even after several weeks already. They have to wait for the base of the pyramid to expand through more recruits but this kind of scheme will not survive long enough and will eventually collapse.

Ano ba yan, hindi ba marunong magmath yung mga nauuto diyan. Because they're not creating any value (ie profit through sale of products or services), the only way to keep it sustainable is if money in = money out.

I just noticed, parang sobrang dami atang MLM recently. Ganito na ba kadami in the last 5 years or talagang nagsulputan sila ngayon?

Bro, the manipulators are counting on one of the most intense and basic desire of men - greed. I disagree that it is katangahan because a lot of educated and wealthy families are still getting duped to invest in MLM.

I agree. A video surfaced last night on the news, showing a recruitment session of One Dream. What struck me the most was the line of their leader, "kung kumikita naman kayo, eh aalis ba kayo?" To which the audience replied a resounding "hindi!"

This kind of thinking is what keeps "investors" from leaving even if they know that their earnings model is completely unsustainable.

Even in stocks, those who get burned are those who don't know when to stop.
