Debit card is safer than credit card if you know what to do ... trick is to have a separate ATM account just for the debit card ... maintain minimum balance and transfer funds when you need to use it ... return excess funds to main account after use (if it's an amount you're not willing to risk) ... Avoid using ANY ATM of your main accounts ... best to lock them ...

I am so mad at BPI! For the first time in my entire life, I had to pay annual fee for a credit card.
Sa HSBC when I threatened to close my account biglang naayos issue sa cards ko, pero sa BPI parang walang impact LOL. They only reversed 50% of P1550, mababa kasi masyado spend ko, they asked me to spend P180k and I said I don't think I can do that (I have no plans to travel at nagtitipid na ko hehe)
Anyway, I just redeemed P1000 from my points to offset. pero dapat sana ipangbili ko ng other item yung P1000

Nasense nila na hindi ka naman seryoso magcancel kaya ayan. Ipinilit na points mo gamitin.

February 10th, 2024 09:33 AM #418many years ago, BPI sent me a pre-approved credit card, which i never asked for in the first place.
then they kept mailing me CC fees.
dinedma ko.
after about a year, they finally sent me a letter, informing me that all charges/fees are reversed.
never heard from them again.
