    Fair price. Which shop?

I have read some concerns about its reliability though, despite it being capacitor-powered. [emoji53]

I am still talking to the supplier. I think I can get it at P4000 per set. Mini 0903 was released Q1 2016. There is new firmware already to address issues reported.

Dumating na Transcend ko, expecting a dp520 pero dp220 ang dumating. May free extra transcend 32gb micro sd at travel kit na kasama.

It's class 10 and it's Samsung. Should be OK.

According to Car Cam Central, Samsung discourages the use of all of their SD cards for dash cameras. It was not designed for those. As the article puts it:

Their cards are great but their policies prohibit use in a dash camera. For their MLC Samsung Pro/Pro+ it has this note beside their 10-year warranty. "Warranty is limited for any type of surveillance system."

Reaching out to Samsung Service I received this response:

"Samsung SD Cards and Micro SD Cards are not intended to be used for continuous recording purposes for example, in surveillance systems such as a car-black box. The reason for this is because the card may fail with constant and obsessive reading and writing. They are not designed to be constantly and continuously written to."
I would follow the manufacturer's advice on this one.

Meron Sandisk High Endurance at Transcend High Endurance na micro SD cards. These are designed for dashcams and surveillance.

Majority of micro SD cards available are not High Endurance. Still it does not mean you cannot use them. You don't use dascams 24/7 naman eh. Yung surveillance lang ang 24/7 ang recording.

Bili ka na lang ng 64GB para matagal bago mapuno at mag-overwrite. If may available na High Endurance, yun ang buy mo. If wala, then no choice.

Thanks sir. Installed na and nagamit ko na ppupunta divisoria. So far so good. Transfer of files through wifi is at 3mbps. 3min clip is at 350mb on 1080p/30fps setting. Ang kulit nga talaga ng adas. Kaya pala recommended nila to just turn it off.

Curious, why you need narrow FoV?

Hindi ba wider FoV is better so you capture more area in the video?

Capturing more area is the main positive of a wider FoV but on the flipside, objects look farther than in reality. I noticed this when I reviewed the footages from the DP200, which has a really wide 160 degree FoV lens. It's not really a bad thing, but a narrower lens gives an impression of the objects distance closer to reality.

This is just a personal preference though. I'm just hoping that dashcam manufacturers will give a selectable/adjustable FoV setting in the future so users will have a choice based on their preferred FoV, like some action cameras do para everybody happy. :D

You might want to try the dual lenses it has a reduced FOV compared to DP200

I'm currently using the Soocoo C30 action cam at the front with its 110 degree angle software setting in the meantime, while putting the DP200 at the back. Will look at these dual lenses. Thanks!
