thanks for the feedback guys. I asked one of the sellers from TPC which was mentioned in this thread, mas mura nga ang transcend from his store than blade.

for those who are using Xiaoyi Yi dash cam, any issues about the unit overheating? I saw a review on YouTube saying na yung battery daw nya (lithiom ion?) not for warm climate like ours. Dapat daw capacitor ang battery like the Transcend.

I'm sort of leaning to the Yi kasi it's cheaper.

I've already posted about this a few pages back. The Yi does all the basics, and it does it very well. And for 3.2k it is quite a steal. The nearest A119 I could find is about 800 pesos more expensive. Now you have to ask yourself, are the marginal advantages of the A119 over the Xiaomi worth 800 pesos? If so, then get that, if not, then scratch that off your list.

Now do the same with the DP220. The cheapest I could find is about 5,800 pesos (which is from the same seller where I got my DP520). Are the advantages (if any) of the DP220 worth 2,600 pesos more? Is it even worth getting over the DP200, which has a wider viewing angle, has a capacitor, and is 900 pesos cheaper? Transferring video via wifi is a b!tch with my SP520, so I don't find it a compelling feature. The GPS is nice but is of limited value. You only need it when you want to watch your video on special desktop software that superimposes your trip over Google Maps. Since I don't, I have no use for GPS.

You know your needs and desires. If you feel the Yi doesn't scratch your itch, then weigh in the differences between your other two choices and decide. I was going to buy a Yi but decided to get the DP520 because I wanted a second camera to capture the interior of my car. I think the Yi is just a great value proposition that makes it hard to choose the others.

What if, kung di class 10 ang SD card, at class 4 or 6 ang gamit, ano ang mga posibilidad na epekto sa dash cam? What I mean is, yung available lang na meron ako at hindi ko ginamit ang rekomended type or class na dapat sa device.

You’ll probably be okay with a class 4 or 6 card for typical use but don't expect to have same output versus class 10. Class 10 cards are ideal if you’re shooting high-resolution videos or RAW photos. Class 2 on the other hand is too slow.

IMO "Class" codes is associated with "Speed" - with class 10 as the fastest (may have the ability to render 90mb/s)

That i cannot answer, but base sa mga reviews in amazon meron talaga na hindi nagana ang sd card if not the specified card ang gamit..

If your camera requires a Class 10, and you use a slower card, may chance na di ma-save lahat ng nakukuha ng camera. Pwedeng may mga skipped portions sa video. Say, for example, na ang camera saves in 3 minute increments. Pwedeng 2 minutes lang ma-record and the rest is lost. So, don't cheap out. Buy the appropriate speed stated sa manual ng camera. And buy only MLC cards. TLC cards will not last too long kasi 1,000 to 3,000 read-write cycles lang buhay niyan.

Capacitors are presumably much more reliable than batteries. Read this article, especially the section on "Capacitors & Lithium Ion Batteries". Or you can read the entire article, which is well written and informative.

I considered its predecessor, the Mini 0805 before. Unfortunately no local stock was available, had to settle with the Qube A7 (same internals). The 0903 looks like a great upgrade with its Sony sensor, which should improve nighttime performance.

How much is it bro and where is it available? [emoji4]
