Hasn't happened. When it does, I'll buy a dashcam that doesn't hang up and stall.
My SJ4000 is almost 2 years old and hasn't hung up and stalled on me. If the A7 is faulty, then I'll throw it away and get a dashcam that can do the job.
I don't want the hassle of turning my dash cam on and off every single time I drive.

^Yes, but I'm worried about warping my windshield tint. If madamage ko kasi, mas mahal pa ireplace yung tint kesa sa total cost nung dashcam.
Other than that, if exposed too long to the sun, suctions cups would cause a warp on the tint and leave an indelible laway mark.It happened to my jimny already and the mark/s are there to remind me never to do it again.
There is an adaptor from amazon that can do the job. It has multiple heads that can match to different brands, even xiaomi or xiaoyi or whatever.

Curious lang, does the suction cup really damage or detach the tint? And I think using an adhesive is no different. Same lang silang nakaattach sa tint and pulling it outward with its weight.
I observed din na ang suction cup of the xiaoyi is not that concave. Meron lang syang lever which does the actual locking.
It's a big no to remove the adhesive mounting by pulling it off. I use a nylon fishing line to remove it. Insert the fishing line in between the adhesive and the winshield and gently pull the line sideways to separate the mounting from the glass.

Pag suction cup malalaglag from time to time e. Baka masira ang camera
Baka sobrang tagtag na sir ng ride kung malalaglag pa. Or possible na ang dinadaanan mo is sobrang lubak talaga. So far, haven't experienced it
meron ba yung mahaba ang reserve battery

Wala. Kahit iPhone or DSLR, hindi kaya na sobrang tagal nagrerecord nang hindi nauubos battery.
Cables shouldn't be a problem - you can always route your cables through your headliner and A-pillar. Whether action cam or dedicated dashcam, pwede 'to:
Look Ma, no cables!
You don't even need your cigarette lighter socket as you can tap directly into your ignition para talagang walang sagabal na cables.

My setup is sj4000, 64gb micro sd formated in fat32 and a 11000mah powerbank from cdrking. I can leave the dashcam recording while i'm away. 64gb can record 8.5hours straight. Di ko pa na try 128gb kung pwede sa sj4000, maybe it can record twice as much. Hindi rin maubos powerbank on a straight 8.5hrs use
me local reseller na xiaomi dashcam sa pinas?
