you might need to invest a little bit more sa ibang brands. try mo thinkware dash cams.
and yung mga dash cam na nabibili sa blade (or concorde, cdrking), i believe gawa sa china mostly, so the quality is compromised din.

you get what you pay for.

im not sure with any cheap android phone na gagawing dash cam. wala syang recycle function (delete/overwrite old files).

There are apps that can function as a dash cam.

if you guys backread, I posted that i'm using my old android phone as dashcam. lately I set it to record * 1280x720p using autogard app. you get all the features a real dashcam have and more. a phone has the hardware already, it's just a matter of using the right software to run it.

Oo nga e nabasa ko din madaming fake versions online. I will give a feedback once nakuha ko ung item kung legit (medyo kabado).

As for the battery, in a couple of minutes lang pala un talaga so kelangan powered palagi. Iniisip ko kung sa fusebox ba mas maganda ilagay ung wiring para kahit patay ang engine, running pa din ung dashcam. And for the memory, 32gb or kung pwede e 64gb ang ilagay para mas matagal na recording.

Finally after 27 days dumating din ang order ko from banggood.com (badtrip kasi natapat sa truck ban kaya ang tagal). Anyway, the G1WH I got seems legit naman. I bought each at the discounted price of $42. Bukas ng madaling araw susubukan namin kung ok sya. Ung ibang cam ikakabit ko nalang sa ibang araw. Here are the pics. Paki-ignore nalang ung background magulo sa bahay e hehe.

Disadvantage:

1. Hassle pag aalis ka kasi need mo kabit / tanggal yung phone.

3. Minsan nag ha hang yung app. Dahil siguro since uminit na yung phone.
4. Pag kumalas yung windshield holder mo sira yung phone mo pag bumagsak.

1. I see the capture to be better (mas malinaw).
2. Instant playback. Pag wala ka magawa puede mo review byahe mo.
3. Speed and location can be embedded sa video (app dependent).
4. Real-time upload to remote server (not sure about this and haven't tried this. requires boredband connection). Added security sa recorded files.

Ok naman pero baka madaling masira yung phone due to the heat stress. I make sure na may part ng aircon na tumatama sa phone esp during daytime. Wala kasi akong front tint.

Only issue lang naman with local sellers ng Novitek Dashcam is the price. With the price of 3k per G1W, few hundreds nalang para ka nang bumili ng dalawang G1WH sa online store. But if you speak of on-hand availability and after sales service, dun mo naman masusulit ang money spent. Still it's up to your preference, sir.

so far itong daily voyager ang magandang app sa experience ko. kinabitan ko lang ng wide angle lens para mas malawak ang sakop. hinde ko na tinatangal yung phone sa holder. spare phone lang naman.
