Anyone Tried Philips X-Treme Power Bulbs?

*locoroco777: Osram nightbreakers were far brighter than the all-weathers they replaced.

the nightbreakers are whiter than the xtreme-power bulbs, and theoretically have more power (+90% vs +80%). But there seems to be not much difference in the pictures...

have yet to see how the NBs perform in the rain

how much were the osram nightbrakers scharn ? i`m planning to replace my very new super white bulbs soon since, I wasn't contented with the lighting it gives.

And, were can I buy them ? TIA !

renzo meron sa maspro banawe. Meron ako dito kasi pang back up ko if ever my Osram All weather fails.

IMO mas maganda ang osram all-weather real 100\80 watts than XPB and NB.

sir, yung all weather ba na yan is kakulay lang nung stock but its a lot brighter? or is it the all weather that is a bright yellow in color? and did you use ceramic sockets?

ang worry ko lang kasi for the higher wattage eh baka in the long run mas mabilis iitim yung headlight lens because of the heat that it produces...

but can anyone enlighten me on this one? if its true or not...

generally, if you use higher wattages, you will need to upgrade to ceramic sockets...

the higher heat produced by the bulb can melt the original sockets (or yung reflectors, kung plastic), as well as blacken the reflectors and glass

sa maspro ako bibili ng osram nb. libre naman install dun diba ? para di na ko magDIY.

mas mura yung NB, and based on raw output, it's stronger.

in the distant future that the NB's conk out I might try out the xtreme power bulbs

pero mas whiter yung light (it's a disadvantage kasi mas maganda yung yellower light sa ulan at fog)

loco :: Yoko na niyan. If ever I`ll go with SW's again, it`ll be HID na. Nadala na ako sa SW's, yung japan/chinese/korean brand na nabili ko eh ang baba ng low-beam ... talagang LOW! Napaalign ko na, ganun pa din.
