    Good day po,

Sayang naman wala pang mga stock ng xp (H4). as i've asked meron osram all weather na 60/55w din (roadstar) *550ea, (allweather-meron din po ata 85/80w), while their NB is at 1.4k, H4 po ito.

has anybody tried na po yung all weather na 85/80w and how it does, at this wattage, kelangan na po ba mag bago electricals (wires, ceramic, etc) may nabasa din ako na ok pa at this wattage, tama po ba?

sa mga NB users, medyo maulan po lately, kamusta naman po ang bato ng ilaw. i'm also planning to change headlight bulb. preferred ko sana xp kaso ala stock ... pero yung ok din po sana sa tag-ulan.

    Thanks!

    Good day sirs,
as i have observed here is a list of the pros and cons of xp (regular wattage) and of higher wattage bulbs ...pa add na lang po if may dagdag kayo
    Advantages of philips xp
    - Philips xp is brighter than stock
    - Philips xp doesnt void warranty (for new cars)
    - Its better on rainy condition due to its stock-ish color (not that white than others: nb) (as per other users)
    - easy on the battery (regular consumption than higher watt bulbs)
    - focus of light (more focused and intense than osram nb as per picture comparisons of other threads) therefore, could probably project light farther. (than 'scattered')

However, for those who are out of warranty or older cars, there are brighter bulbs but... (higher wattage -hw)
    - for hw, need to re-configure sockets, connections, groundings, etc
    - for hw, might be straneous(?) for the battery (needs more charging cycle than use of stock wattage)
    - for hw with enhance of electircal, will void warranty for new cars
    - hw might damage/darken headlight casings
    - for osram nb, throw of light is/myt be shorter than xp
but also, it will still depend on your headlight/reflectors

I was able to buy at c3, philips xp. I chose it over other brands (although i could try higher wattages for the car is out of warranty) because (1) of its stock wattage will hopefully be good to my battery and (2) good on rain, than white-ish bulbs. i'm hoping it will be easy on the operation side (battery) and that it will last long.

    other options:
higher wattage all-weather: as i was buying there another customer bought narva all-weather 100/90w, they tested both xp and the higher wattage narva and i believe narva is brighter, but thats comparing orange and apples. I would like to try an 85/80w all weather if i have the resources, soon.

btw po, san po pwedeng magpa align ng headlight? thanks po.

Nako! don't waste your money on that alignment BS.

It's not pure BS but it's better to do it manually against the wall.

Sometimes after you have it aligned with them, mataas pa din yun tutok so adjust ulit.

You can try it if you want, but it's not worth it.

anybody who knows of aligning ford lynx headlight?

try ko na lang cgro tanggalin buong headlight assy para mabusisi. thanks.

try asking sa ford club philippines or pag nag pa service ka ask mo lang.

You really don't need to take off the whole headlight to look for it.

Yun sa civic, try mo hanapin yun similar part where you can slot a screwdriver sa lynx mo.
